Our mission
ENFA champions increased awareness, research and support for people living with fibromyalgia across Europe. Our vision
ENFA’s vision is for a world lived free from the constraints of fibromyalgia. This will involve early diagnosis, a multidisciplinary approach to treatment, and lifelong support for individuals and families, to benefit physical, psychosocial, emotional and vocational we
llbeing. This can be achieved by the inclusion of fibromyalgia as a key topic in the European Health Programme. Our evolving strategy
• We want everyone to understand fibromyalgia.
• We want to support and empower people living with fibromyalgia.
• We want to unite and empower local and national patient organisations.
• We want to build strong, interdisciplinary partnerships with other organisations across Europe to involve and shape policy.
• We want to stimulate and support world-class research.
• We want to focus on the specific needs of children, young people, young adults, carers and families, recognising that fibromyalgia affects people across the lifecourse, and those supporting loved ones with the condition.
