Founded in accordance with Belgian law, on October 16, 2008
It's a European non-profit association,

Our mission
ENFA champions increased awareness, research and support for people living with fibromyalgia across Europe. Our vision
ENFA’s vision is for a world lived free from the constraints of fibromyalgia. This will involve early diagnosis, a multidisciplinary approach to treatment, and lifelong support for individuals and families, to benefit physical, psychosocial, emotional and vocational wellbeing. This can be achieved by the inclusion of fibromyalgia as a key topic in the European Health Programme. Our evolving strategy
• We want everyone to understand fibromyalgia.
• We want to support and empower people living with fibromyalgia.
• We want to unite and empower local and national patient organisations.
• We want to build strong, interdisciplinary partnerships with other organisations across Europe to involve and shape policy.
• We want to stimulate and support world-class research.
• We want to focus on the specific needs of children, young people, young adults, carers and families, recognising that fibromyalgia affects people across the lifecourse, and those supporting loved ones with the condition.

On October 16th, ENFA marks 18 years of working towards a better future for people living with fibromyalgia.

And this milestone belongs to our Network Members just as much as it belongs to ENFA.

To every organisation that shares knowledge, supports people living with fibromyalgia, raises awareness, and advocates for change in its community: you are an essential part of this journey.

Every contribution matters. Every voice adds strength. Every connection creates opportunities for progress.

Today, we celebrate 18 years of connection — and the people and organisations who give that connection meaning.
