EN - It's summertime in Brussels, and the city is so quiet! We deeply miss the buzzing energy of the festival crowd: the people, the joy, the smiles, the connexion... and of course the music. Stay tuned! The fabulous festival aftermovie is coming soon!
FR - C'est l'été à Bruxelles, et la ville est tellement calme ! L'effervescence de la foule des festivals nous manque énormément : les gens, la joie, les sourires, les liens qui se tissent… et bien sûr, la musique. Restez à l'écoute ! Le fabuleux aftermovie du festival arrive bientôt !
NL - Het is zomer in Brussel, en de stad is zo stil! We missen de bruisende energie van het festivalpubliek enorm: de mensen, de vreugde, de glimlachen, de verbondenheid… en natuurlijk de muziek. Blijf op de hoogte! De fantastische aftermovie van het festival komt er binnenkort aan!

EN - Today, we want to take the time to say thank you to everyone who helped make our dream a reality. Not everything went perfectly, but above all we will cherish the memories of your joy and pride. That is our greatest reward. Various Voices Brussels 2026
is now over. It was a mammoth task, but we did it! What an adventure it has been!

FR - Aujourd’hui, nous voulons prendre le temps de dire merci à toutes les personnes qui ont permis de faire de notre rêve une réalité. Tout ne s’est pas parfaitement passé mais nous garderons surtout les souvenirs de votre joie et de votre fierté. C’est notre
plus belle récompense.Various Voices Brussels 2026 est maintenant terminé. C’était une tâche titanesque mais nous l’avons fait ! Quelle aventure cela a été !

NL - Vandaag willen we even de tijd nemen om iedereen te bedanken die ertoe heeft bijgedragen dat onze droom werkelijkheid is geworden. Niet alles is vlekkeloos verlopen, maar we zullen vooral de herinneringen aan jullie vreugde en trots koesteren. Dat is onze
mooiste beloning. Various Voices Brussels 2026 is nu ten einde. Het was een gigantische klus, maar we hebben het voor elkaar gekregen! Wat een avontuur was het!

Tonight, Brussels’ q***r heart is beating at full volume. 💜🎶🌈

Our new article dives into “Let Your Heart Be Heard”, the grand finale of Various Voices Brussels 2026 at ING Arena – the moment when more than 4,000 singers and dozens of LGBTQI+ choirs come together under the European flag to form the biggest q***r choir the city has ever seen.

We talk about:

how months of open rehearsals and build‑up across Brussels lead to this shared anthem moment

the encounters and discoveries between choirs from 18 countries, each with their own sound, story and flavour

the stubborn joy of singing through the heatwave, and the diversity and commitment that keep the festival going

EN - People attending the Various Voices festival were the victims of homophobic attacks last night. The festival team expresses its solidarity with the victims and is here to listen to them. The festival team calls on the authorities to fulfil their responsibilities to ensure the safety of festival-goers. The festival team reminds that measures are in place to ensure the safety of festival-goers on the festival sites. FR - Des participants au festival « Various Voices » ont été victimes d’agressions homophobes hier soir. L’équipe du festival exprime sa solidarité avec les victimes et se tient à leur écoute. Elle appelle les autorités à assumer leurs responsabilités afin d’assurer la sécurité des festivaliers. L'équipe du festival rappelle que des mesures sont en place pour assurer la sécurité des festivaliers sur les sites du festival.
