The first INTERNATURAL Changemakers' Festival of Territorial Regeneration, with which the partners of the International Development Center INTERNATURAL want to encourage a joint public-civil reflection on the social, economic and cultural development of local communities.
The PROFUND European network consists of 8 organizations active in the field of education and training for EU funds from Belgium, Portugal, Italy, Spain, Germany, Austria, Estonia and Croatia. During the Summit, a dialogue was opened with the respective experts on funding local projects from EU funds in the new programming period of EU funding 2021 - 2027.
The summit of the "European Cluster of Experts in EU Funding - PROFUND" is just one of the many contents that the partners of the International Development Center INTERNATURAL will contribute to territorial development.
"Through the Festival we want to encourage the opinion of every member of the community to be heard, that local problems get new scenarios to solve with the direct participation of local stakeholders, authorities and foreign experts! We want to use the knowledge and experience of the best experts in their fields and collect innovative and feasible ideas for the development of the territory! We want to promote knowledge as the basis of every change, but also the proactivity and importance of every member of the community to achieve positive change! ”, say the organizers of the Festival.
The participants of the INTERNATURAL Changemakers' Festival and the Summit of the "European Cluster of Experts in EU Funding - PROFUND" were greeted by the Mayor of Vodnjan-Dignano Edi Pastrovicchio and the Mayor of Fažana Radomir Korać.
On behalf of the International Development Center INTERNATURAL, the Festival was opened by the coordinator of the Festival Sabina Valić from the Vodnjan Association INFORMO and the director of the Festival Dino Babić from the Belgian association European Projects Association. The panel was moderated by Jordi Faris of the Belgian European Projects Association.
The PROFUND network and guest experts with many years of diverse experience, specializing in various areas of European funding, were presented by Mihaela Jović Karešin, Association INFORMO project manager . European experts Tamara Hinz and Michael Sadler from EUFRAK in Germany; Rui Henriques and Ines Oliveira from the Pedro Nunes Institute in Portugal; and Manuela Marchioni, Alice Cecchellero and Morena Rizzo from the Italian academy PRODOS gave the present citizens and local government representatives concrete, innovative guidelines and opportunities for financing local priorities and development projects of Vodnjan-Dignano based on real needs presented to the guests by the local Summit participants The goal is to implement the proposed solutions to lead to faster development and activation of the local community.
