General Assembly is a wrap!

Delegates from civil society organisations, think tanks and research centres came together to share their vision for a more democratic, equitable and peaceful Europe.

In our workshops we generated ideas through participatory methods to advance and consolidate:

๐Ÿ“š Cultural rights
๐Ÿ“ˆ Economic rights to dispose of sovereignty over resources
โœŠ Civil and participation rights

In the formal sessions, the general assembly tackled the new regulation for political foundations and how to adapt to new requirements, it set priorities and planned activities for the year ahead, approving budget and workplan.

Also, a new bureau led by our president Antonia Luciani
is elected for the next 3 years !

Congratulations and thank you to everyone who contributed to making this General Assembly a success.

This week we gather youth voices to discuss self-determination, minority rights and democracy at the European Parliament.

This event hosted at the European Parliament will advocate civic engagement to build democratic peace. This is not built not only through institutions, but through the active political voice of peoples who have too often been excluded from them.

The dialogue will be lead by youth activits and decision makers from Quebec, Basque Country, Silesia, Cornwall, Alsace, Catalonia and Scotland .

It is a great opportunity to reflect on the future of places like Quebec, Scotland, Alsace, Cornwall and other places where elections are happening in 2026 and for comparative dialogue on how electoral processes can either advance or constrain democratic self-expression.

Transatlantic exchange brings in perspectives from Quebec where questions of minority rights, indigenous sovereignty, and federal autonomy offer both parallels and productive contrasts to European experiences.

Today for hashtag we take part in a debate on local and municipal strategies to engage and mobilise citizens to support more inclusive, more diverse and more equitable Europe.

During the event in Tarrega, our president, Antonia Luciani, has argued that policies implemented closer to the citizens have a greater potential for impact in economic development and social progress and reinforce European values such as protection of cultural and linguistic diversity.
