Good news from Latvia 🇱🇻

The environment is already cleaner after the introduction of the deposit system.

So far, the number of plastic bottles littered on the beach decreased by 61%, metal cans - by 52%, and glass bottles - by 28%. 📉

Since the government's decision against a Deposit Return Scheme, in 2023, 4 billion plastic bottles and cans have been buried, incinerated or abandoned in the environment in France.
