🌍 Happy International Youth Day 2026!

Today, we celebrate the voices, ideas and leadership of young people around the world. International Youth Day is an opportunity to recognise the important role young people play in creating more inclusive societies and to highlight the barriers that many continue to face, including young people living with disabilities.

This year, the IF International Youth Group SBH is marking the day with a dedicated webinar exploring how inclusive education, skills development and employment opportunities can help young people living with spina bifida and hydrocephalus (SBH) build successful and fulfilling futures.

Join us today for an inspiring conversation with youth advocates, adult advocates and experts as we discuss challenges, opportunities and pathways towards greater inclusion.

πŸ“’ Your voice matters.

Twenty years after the adoption of the UNCRPD, the Disability Alliance is inviting persons with disabilities and their representative organisations to share their experiences. What progress have you seen? What barriers remain? What should the next 20 years of disability rights look like?

IF encourages its members, partners and the wider spina bifida and hydrocephalus community to take part in this important global survey and help ensure lived experiences continue to shape disability rights advocacy.

πŸ“ Complete the survey here: https://internationaldisabilityalliance.cmail20.com/t/y-l-fendl-huktyhcw-y/

Together, we can help shape a more inclusive future.
