We’re excited to welcome Adam Roland , our new Communications Assistant based in Brussels 🇧🇪✨

As the third new member to join the Caravan Network team, Adam brings a rich background in storytelling and creative communication 🎬📸 — helping us share our stories with authenticity, emotion, and impact 💡🌍

His journey spans across cinema🎥, performing arts, theatre improvisation🎭, and photography 📷 — all driven by a deep passion for culture and artistic expression ❤️

Rooted in the Brussels artistic scene, Adam is also active as a video maker through his project QORE PICTURES 🎞️.

His creative skills and vision will help make Caravan’s communication more diverse, vibrant, and far-reaching 🚀 🔥 We’re thrilled to have his energy and creativity on board!

And now we welcome Rose to the second Caravan Board Team! 🌟🙌

With over 9 years of experience in the youth field 🎓🌍, Rose has been actively involved in international projects and brings a deep commitment to youth engagement and collaboration 🤝✨

Her experience will be a great asset to our key youth initiatives, including CTF and W.A.Y 🚀🎪

Rose also contributes her expertise from Arcenciel, a Lebanese organization 🇱🇧 dedicated to the social and economic inclusion of people with disabilities and marginalized communities 🌈

♿ Through her work there as a deputy, she brings valuable insight into inclusive practices and social impact — helping us expand the reach of circus arts to those who need it most.

We’re especially excited to welcome her supportive, action-oriented energy 💪, along with her strong ability to work in multinational and multilingual environments 🌍🗣️

Our Board is growing! 🎉

Today, we’re thrilled to officially welcome Tommaso Negri as our first new member of the Caravan Circus Board Team! 🙌🎪

The Caravan Board is an international operational committee shaping the future of our network — helping guide the vision and direction of youth circus arts across borders 🎭 🤝

Tommaso joins us as AltroCirco News Project Manager and Vice President of Badabam Circus School 🏫, bringing valuable experience in project leadership, education, and cultural initiatives 💡

He already knows Caravan from the inside, having been a Trainer of Trainers in our CTF program🔥 — a huge asset for our community! 🎓

We’re excited to see his energy and expertise contribute to the development of our network, especially in Italy 🇮🇹❤️over the coming years.

🎪✨ Our friends at Cirkuskus have transformed an unused space into a vibrant new home for circus in Slovakia; a place where creativity, learning, and community can continue to grow. Their new Centrála is already becoming an inspiring space for young people and artists to train, connect, and make circus dreams a reality.

Creating a safe and fully equipped circus space requires an enormous investment, from aerial structures and flooring to mats and technical equipment. Cirkuskus has worked incredibly hard to make this happen, and now they are asking for a little extra support from the international circus community to help sustain this important work.

🎪✨ CTF 9 – Module C in Siena, Italy ✨🎪

Last week, 22 participants from across Europe and the Middle East gathered in beautiful Siena for Module C of Circus Transformation in Action 9.

Hosted by our AltroCirco News member Badabam , this five-day training focused on developing practical skills and tools for the management of teaching; supporting trainers to strengthen how they plan, structure, and deliver their work within youth and social circus contexts.

A huge thank you to our dedicated trainers, Tommaso and Ilaria, for guiding the group through an inspiring and hands-on week of learning and exchange.

This module was made possible thanks to the support of Sorin Sirkus’ Youth Accreditation funding, helping ensure that this international group could come together, collaborate, and grow.

The journey of CTF 9 continues! We are proud to see such commitment, curiosity, and solidarity from the participants, shaping the future of social circus.

🎪✨ Check out this powerful new video from our Canadian colleagues at Cirque Hors Piste !

Cirkaskina is the Canadian Social Circus Network, led by Cirque Hors Piste, creating spaces for sharing, connection, and self-expression for young people across Canada.

This new video gives the floor to young participants and social circus practitioners through sincere and moving testimonies. The stories and images come from a youth gathering held in May 2025, which brought together 111 participants from 15 different communities.

The work being carried out through Cirkaskina is a strong example of how social circus builds bridges across vast territories, strengthens youth participation, and creates meaningful spaces for belonging and collective expression.

🎪✨ We are continually inspired by the powerful work of our members around the world.

In recent weeks, Phare Ponleu Selpak - Battambang has been supporting displaced families affected by the Cambodia–Thailand conflict through their Activity Camp in Banteay Meanchey Province. Through circus, dance, music, and creative workshops, they are offering children a safe and welcoming space to express themselves, reconnect with joy, and access psychosocial and hygiene support during a time of uncertainty.

This initiative is a strong reminder of how circus and the arts can foster resilience, dignity, and hope, especially for communities experiencing crisis and displacement.
