The Good Lobby is a non-profit civic start-up committed to equalising access to power for a more plural, inclusive and democratic society.

We believe that every citizen can make a difference in their community. To this end, we inspire, train and help citizens to influence major policy decisions, hold their political representatives accountable and share with them new solutions. In so doing, we build unconventional collaborations and alliances with and among NGOs, progressive companies, consultancies, and philanthropies. In other word

s, we help citizens and other organisations to set up ‘good lobbies’, enabling them to balance the undue influence of special interest groups. For this purpose, The Good Lobby popularises and democratises the various channels of participatory democracy existing at local, national and EU level. By embracing lobbying, everyone can gain a seat at the table and make their political system more responsive to societal needs. It’s time to get heard wherever you are and change society for the better, through many more voices.

In 2025, The Good Lobby Profs challenged Hungary's transparency law, intervened in a landmark case on judicial independence (MEDEL), pushed for answers on the Várhelyi spying allegations, held Slovakia to account for democratic backsliding, and corrected the record on the EU's Digital Markets Act before the US Congress - often alongside partners like you.

🇪🇺 👥 European citizenship comes with rights, but can everyone access them?

The European Commission has officially registered “All On Board”, a new European Citizens’ Initiative calling for more inclusive access to European citizenship.

🎓 The goal? Make citizenship more accessible through education, mobility and recognition of qualifications. Now the campaign has one year to reach 1 million signatures.
