We are fighting for accountability, transparency and justice for people harmed by corporate abuse.

The European Coalition for Corporate Justice (ECCJ) advocates for European laws that guarantee corporate accountability and transparency, and ensure justice for victims of corporate malpractice. Representing over 450 organisations from 17 countries, ECCJ is the only European coalition bringing together campaigns and national platforms of NGOs, trade unions, consumer organisations and academics in

order to tackle the root causes of corporate injustice. We are guided by a vision of a sustainable world in which corporations’ drive for profit is balanced with the interests of society at large, and where businesses respect human, social and environmental rights.

The European Parliament has just adopted its position on the package: a dangerous step backward for Europe’s sustainability and human rights commitments.

We call on EU leaders to protect accountability, not corporate privilege.

Europe is at a crossroads.

In two weeks, the European Parliament votes on I: a decision that will show whether our laws protect people and the planet, or just the powerful few.

What’s framed as “simplification” is, in truth, a wave of deregulation that weakens hard-won protections for workers, communities, and the environment. We need rules that build a fair, sustainable future, not tear it down.

The moment to act is now.
This is a critical moment to secure the EU’s role as a global leader in sustainability and corporate accountability.

Ask your national MEP to step up and secure a responsible, ambitious, and workable agreement on Omnibus I by the plenary vote on November 13.
