⚛️ Strengthening the Nordic Nuclear Voice ⚛️
🇸🇪🇳🇴🇫🇮 During the Nordic Nuclear Forum 2026 in , representatives of the Suomen Atomiteknillinen Seura / Finnish Nuclear Society (ATS), the Swedish Nuclear Society (SKS) (ENS Member Societies), the Norwegian Nuclear Association, FinNuclear Association, NuclearSweden and the European Nuclear Society came together for a dedicated discussion on how the Nordic community can contribute to the ongoing Nuclear Renaissance in the and across .
🌐 The meeting aimed to identify common ground, shared and , and to explore closer collaborations in the . One message resonated throughout the discussion.
🎙️ As Carl Berglöf, Sweden’s National Nuclear New-Build Coordinator, stated: “We need to bring together. Nuclear devote their lives to nuclear energy, yet they often do not meet each other. We need to remove barriers and create neutral platforms through seminars and workshops.”
🤝 Together, the participating organisations represent a significant part of the Nordic nuclear community, from professionals and scientific to industry and national . All participants agreed that stronger dialogue, increased visibility and closer cooperation can benefit both the Nordic region and the wider European nuclear ecosystem. The discussion will continue, and concrete follow-up actions are already being prepared.
