🌍✨ Reflecting on “Exploring EU Integration from a GenZ Perspective” Project ✨🌍

Looking back at our Erasmus+ youth exchange in Borne Sulinowo, Poland, one thing became clear: EU integration is more than treaties or policies, it’s about people.

From July 20 to July 26, through workshops, debates, and intercultural evenings organised with Fundacja “Zielony Słoń”® (Green Elephant Foundation), 27 young people from Belgium, Poland, Romania, Croatia, Hungary, and Italy came together to explore what integration truly means from a Gen Z perspective.

We learned that integration begins with dialogue, where differences become opportunities rather than barriers. Through shared stories, laughter, and even late-night conversations, participants discovered that Europe’s strength lies not only in its institutions but in the connections built across cultures.

For Gen Z, EU integration means empathy, collaboration, active engagement, and the belief that young voices can shape the future of Europe. This exchange showed us that the next generation is ready to contribute to a more inclusive, democratic, and united Europe through creativity, reflection, and action.

🌍✨ From Verdun to the future of Europe ✨🌍

Born from our reflections during the Erasmus+ Youth Exchange in Verdun, we came together as young people from Belgium, France, Germany, and Luxembourg to reflect, create, and imagine peace. Not just as history, but as a shared, living responsibility.

Through workshops, site visits, and bold conversations, we built bridges across borders and generations. 💬🕊️

💫Peace isn’t a slogan. It’s a way of being.

🌍 A World Shared: How Erasmus Mundus Changed Liseth’s Map of Life

Before 2018, Liseth Victoria Pasaguayo Báez’s path was clear and Ecuadorian. Then came her acceptance into the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree in Mechatronics Engineering (EU4M)—and her world expanded beyond imagination.

🇪🇸 In Spain, Liseth discovered that food is more than flavor; it’s community. Sharing tapas taught her how openness and connection can make any place feel like home.

🇪🇬 In Egypt, she found beauty in contrasts. The monumental history and vibrant energy of Giza reminded her that even in the unfamiliar, there’s a universal thread of humanity.

🇫🇷 In France, Liseth experienced elegance and excellence—academically and culturally. Completing her thesis at the renowned FEMTO research institute deepened both her technical expertise and her appreciation for precision (and fine cheese 🧀).

For Liseth, Erasmus Mundus was more than a master’s degree—it was a masterclass in life. Living, learning, and growing across three countries reshaped not only her career but also her worldview.

💡 Her true diploma? Adaptability, empathy, and the joy of discovering unity in diversity.

What an inspiring day celebrating Erasmus Days 2025 with our Erasmus Mundus Mentoring Session: “The Art of Personal Branding – Positioning Yourself for Erasmus Mundus Excellence” 🎓💫

Held at Kickstart, Lahore, the session brought together aspiring Erasmus applicants, alumni, and mentors to explore how personal branding and PR can help students stand out in scholarship applications.

💬 The exercise helped everyone practice authentic storytelling, self-confidence, and active listening , vital skills for interviews and applications.

There were some incredible speakers who made the day truly special:

🎙️ Waqar Baig – The guru for Erasmus in Pakistan, shared the importance of finding purpose and seeking answers that define your journey.
🎙️ M. Mahmood – Offered practical advice on navigating the Erasmus process and life abroad.
🎙️ Zain Khalid – Travelled all the way from Vehari to Lahore, representing the dedication and curiosity that make the Erasmus community thrive.

In the even, there were three hands-on activities on personal branding and public relations, encouraging participants to:
✨ Speak positively about themselves and their achievements
✨ Align personal goals with professional growth
✨ Express authenticity with confidence

Here’s to celebrating the Erasmus spirit empowering future changemakers to tell their stories, pursue their dreams, and represent Pakistan globally 🇪🇺💙
