Critical Project

Critical Project A 3 years Erasmus+ project about critical information for migrants on parenting and health to promot

Project objectives:

The project aims at developing training materials which can be used to help migrants understand the different views and perspectives on parenting and health. The materials will help them deal with the rules and values regarding parenting in the host country and to better access health services. The project will develop a methodology which facilitates the use of these training materials in the existing context and training opportunities in each of the partners’ countries.

The Final conference for the Critical project took place in Athens on the 1st of July, hosted by Δήμητρα Εκπαιδευτικός Οργανισμός with the participation of Folkuniversitetet 🥳

It was a great success!
Gathering 80 participants (representatives of migrant bodies, NGOs and associations, agencies dealing with integration, equal rights and parenting), the partners disseminated the project results: our physical and online games on health, parenting and equality for newly-arrived immigrants.

[🌟 A new online learning platform on parenting & health in host countries for immigrants]

•The partners of Critical Project discussed the development of the Online interacting learning platform, delivering the material on parenting and health, created during the previous months.

•During this meeting, we brainstormed on the design and content of the platform, which will eventually be tested locally by migrants and stakeholders providing services to immigrants.

More news from the CRITICAL project ! 🎉

All partners are now creating a methodology for pedagogical cardgame migrants to learn more about parenting, equality and the health system in their host country.
After analysing existing guidance and information material, we agreed that the cardgame would be filling an essential gap in this field. The methodolgy will be adapted to each partner country's cultural specificities, for it to have a greater impact on migrants' well-being in the country.

Soon will be the training for the local game leaders !
