🚌 When Niels Destadsbader arrived in the RUN TO KICK village with the Niels-bus full of patients from UZ Ghent, the sun started to shine even brighter and so did the smiles on our runners’ faces. 🤩

Niels is the best godfather we could dream of! He truly cares for the kids and their families 🫶

He always goes the extra mile with a smile: giving the start signal 🏁, running like a champ, and charming everyone on stage and in our aftermovie 🍿.

Thank you, Niels and team Niels, for kicking by our side. We’re endlessly grateful to call you Kickers❣️

❤️ Thank you, thank you, thank you to the best volunteers in the world. They and their 250 pairs of helping hands made RUN TO KICK 2026 possible, and a huge success. 🙏

They helped build the village, pointed runners in the right direction on the big day, served thousands of delicious meals and drinks to our hungry runners, and then took it all down together again. 🥵

Give them a huge round of applause in the comments. We cannot wait to welcome you all back next year. Thanks to them, RUN TO KICK 2027 is going to be magnificent. ☀️

After RUN TO KICK we were all very hungry… luckily our amazing food partners saved the day! Our friends at TERO served up delicious 1,000 hotdogs 🌭 that disappeared in no time.
