That's what it's all about during a major natural disaster. People need people to survive, get back on their feet and rebuild. Assistance with food, with financial possibilities and administration. We need the governments, but they need us too. That's where BFAD comes in, coordination between the different agencies (national, regional and governmental) We learned during the flood of mid 2021 that this is not obvious. Several agencies prefer to work alone and let that be the point we work on.
