🚨 The future of the Erasmus+ programme is at risk and this would seriously harm youth organisations like ours.
🗯️ EEE-YFU has formally addressed EU decision-makers at European Commission to express serious concerns about the direction of the next Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps (ESC) programmes. In our message, we call for:
1️⃣ A dedicated Youth Chapter with at least 15% of the Erasmus+ budget
2️⃣ The preservation of the Erasmus+ structure and its Key Actions
3️⃣ A 5x increase in the budget for Erasmus+ and ESC for 2028–2034
⛓️💥 Removing the Youth Chapter or merging youth funding into a Competitiveness Fund would leave countless young people behind — especially those outside formal education.
📢 We call on national governments and EU institutions:
Protect youth funding. Defend non-formal education. Secure Erasmus+ for all.
