On April 25, Viktor Berezenko , Founder of the Institute for Global Transformation, made a speech at the online event “Fighting Disinformation through the Philosophy of Objectivism”.

Ukrainian youth had the opportunity to learn about the main traps that await people in the informational space during the war and learn how to resist propaganda by developing critical thinking.

Victor Berezenko emphasized that disinformation is like a virus that spreads rapidly. Its impact is dangerous because it can manipulate people and influence their opinions. Therefore, it is important to critically evaluate information and use independent thinking as a shield against disinformation, which allows drawing your own conclusions.

The event also included a speech by Daniel Lubkin Co-founder of the Ayn Rand Center in Ukraine, who spoke about how the philosophy of objectivism can be applied to fighting disinformation and choosing reliable sources of information.

On Friday, December 15th, the round table discussion "Collaborative Energy Future," initiated by the Ukraine Facility Platform, took place in Brussels. This event and project in general holds significant importance for us, Ukraine and the European Union.

The Ukraine Facility Platform is a joint initiative led by two European non-governmental think tanks: the Center for Human Capital (based in Ukraine, Kyiv) and the Institute for Global Transformation (based in the EU, Brussels), with the support of the Mission of Ukraine to the EU.

This project is geared towards fostering a sustainable future for mutual growth between the EU 🇪🇺 and Ukraine 🇺🇦. We strongly believe that collaboration between Ukraine and the EU will empower both sides to construct a sustainable future, emphasizing the rule of law, investing in human capital development, supporting key industries, and ensuring secure digitalization.

The inaugural round table focused on issues of energy security and the green transition. We are delighted that representatives from leading global energy companies participated in crafting scenarios for a collaborative and sustainable future.

Organising events is difficult, organising events in Europe is twice as difficult, and a Web3 event in Europe in general sounds like something unreal. However, there are no problems that our team cannot handle.

And we proved it on May 23-24 in Brussels, when we held the European WEB3 Summit. The event had been organised by the Institute of Cognitive Modeling in cooperation with the Institute for Global Transformation.

At the summit there were:
🔹13 panel discussions
🔹60 speakers, including leading politicians, economists, experts, businessmen and Web3 entrepreneurs
🔹150 guests and more than 1000 viewers via online broadcasting from all over the world

In just one week, the European WEB3 Summit will be held in Brussels, which is organized by the IGT team.

The will bring together European legislators, Web2 and Web3 industry leaders, and civil society groups. Our goal is to promote a trusting dialogue in order to create a sustainable environment for the Web3 in Europe.
