Canny found love at F.O.O.D. Piknik in Prague and aluminium cans found their way to recycling. 💚
Partnering with local beverage brand PRAGERS, our Czech chapter Každá plechovka se počítá helped keep aluminium in the loop, reminding festivalgoers that recycling aluminium saves up to 95% of the energy needed to produce it from raw materials.

As Poland’s DRS becomes part of everyday life, public events offer another powerful platform to help people understand how the new system works and why it matters to keep aluminium in the loop.♾️

At Męskie Granie 2026, together with Grupa Żywiec and partners across the value chain, Każda Puszka Cenna brought can recycling to life across six cities, combining DRS infrastructure with creative activations and direct engagement with festivalgoers.
And this time, the iconic ECC PIXELATA wasn’t just a piece of art. It became an educational tool, inviting festivalgoers to return uncrushed cans and instantly reclaim their deposit.
Because yes, remember: with DRS, don’t crush it. ♻️

900 recycled drink cans. One brand-new pair of wings. 🦋♻️
Every Can Counts UK returned to Victorious Festival as part of a busy summer across the country.
The new ECC Butterfly Wings made their debut alongside Canzee, the ECC mascot, and our recycling ambassadors, giving festival-goers one more reason to stop, take a photo, and talk about drink can recycling.

When they ask you what the vibe at work is like..😎

Take a look back at our annual Every Can Counts Managers’ Meeting that brought our chapters together in Vienna for a day full of strategy sessions, hands-on workshops, conversations about circularity and how we can make the recycling message reach even more people. ♻️
And yes, ECC’s mascot Canny made an appearance, making some noise — quite literally — and reminding us that if we want people to care, the message needs to stand out (and not take ourselves too seriously).

What goes around, comes back around♻️

Każda Puszka Cenna, our local chapter in Poland, returned to the Audioriver festival and this time showcased the Deposit Return System in action.

With reverse vending machines set up across the site and ECC ambassadors there to help, festivalgoers had everything they needed to return their empty cans for recycling.

Μusic and recycling can really rock together.
At this year’s Pol'and'Rock Festival, our local chapter in Poland and Kompania Piwowarska joined forces to make recycling interactive and fun.

The outcome: 100,000 cans were collected through reverse vending machines and recycling backpacks, keeping this valuable material in the loop.
