Hello from Imloul, earth-loving friends!
We end this small series of update posts, by stepping inside the crèche, a space dedicated to the youngest children of the Women’s House.
The kids’ room was imagined as a calm yet playful environment: earthy, soft colors, curved geometries, and built-in elements that become benches, niches, and places to sit, play, and explore.

Designed at a child’s scale, this space allows architecture to support care, imagination, and everyday life.
Here, the embracing and cozy domes designed by Studio 2111 create a protected, warm atmosphere.
Next, this space will also become a place for learning and sharing.

Hello from Imloul, earth-loving friends!
We continue our journey through the inner courtyards of the Women’s House. In the small kitchen courtyard, directly connected through an arch with the entrance courtyard, we built a reed canopy to create a shaded area, improving comfort and daily use of the space.
Throughout the day, the play of light and shadows filters into the courtyard, creating a cosy and welcoming atmosphere.

Hello from Imloul, earth-loving friends!
We continue our journey inside The Women's House building site. While working on the kids’ room, thanks to the support of our donor Natacha from .design , we were able to respond to a concrete need expressed by the women of the association.
Within the entrance courtyard, a small storage room was created, placed symmetrically to the bathrooms. This led to a slight shift of the main entrance gate and finally provides a dedicated space to store shared materials.
Small interventions, shaped by dialogue and use.

Hello all earth-loving friends!

As this year of quiet, behind-the-scenes work comes to an end, we’re happy to be back sharing news from the Women’s House in Imloul — with the hope of many updates ahead in the coming year.

So, a small recap: from April to late summer, we completed the finishing touches of the kids’ room, created a reed canopy to shade the courtyard, and added a new storage room, responding directly to the women’s needs. An important step forward.

We close this chapter with gratitude and look ahead with excitement — new projects are already taking shape.

Hello all earth-loving friends! Over the winter period we have been quietly busy planning the next phase of the "Maison des Femmes" construction site that will take place this spring.

And here it is, a preview of what this includes: the finishing touches of the kid's room! we imagined a colorful place, where the walls and benches would create a playground for the children. The construction Team is ready... Stay tuned!
