We were delighted to welcome a crew of volunteers from FoodDrinkEurope to the kitchen earlier this month for a team building session! The team chopped over 50kg of fresh veg for use in the kitchen and also portioned over 400 meals to share at the Humanitarian Hub with the help of our partners at Serve the City Brussels and .

A huge thank you to everyone at FoodDrinkEurope for their time and support! 👏

Last week, we hosted the ACT Alliance – a group of humanitarian and development aid agencies, supporting and implementing projects in many countries in Africa, Asia, South America and in Europe, including Ukraine - at the kitchen!

The menu centred on our chefs for the evening – Roya and Anjali - and was a celebration of Persian and Indian food.

Thank you for partnering with us to highlight our work in Brussels while continuing your mission to change the world!

A moment of appreciation for our friends and the amazing community at the The International School of Brussels (Official).

Last year, students and staff came together to raise over €4,000 in support of Community Kitchen in addition to a collecting an impressive amount of non-perishable goods for our foodbank (boxes pictured are not even all of what we received!). This generosity helped us provide extra support and festive items during the holiday season to share the holiday spirit with the households we serve.

What makes this partnership so special, though, is that it goes far beyond fundraising. Throughout the year, ISB students have shown up to the kitchen bringing energy, compassion, and a genuine willingness to help wherever it’s needed.

We’re so grateful for your continued support and the commitment your students show to our vision for Brussels. Thank you for being such an important part of what we do. 🙌

Big thanks to Lions Club Brüssel Charlemagne for their €10,000 donation to Community Kitchen and @stcbelgium to support our work supplying meals to the Humanitarian Hub.

The Lions Club raised the funds from the sale of their 2025 Advent Calendar. We are most grateful for all the hard work that went into producing and selling the calendars.

And finally, another thank you to Lions' team who volunteered with us this morning and handed over the giant symbolic cheque!

We were honoured to partner with the for the Ribbons for Provisions initiative this weekend.

With the help of some seriously generous fans, we raised enough funds for over 7,000 meals to share with those in need.

Big news! The Hoggies are returning for another Ceilidh in the Kitchen.

Expect lively music, traditional Scottish dancing, and delicious food- all in support of the Community Kitchen!

A ceilidh (pronounced “kay-lee”) is a traditional Scottish gathering filled with music, dancing, and good company! With our band the Hoggies playing energetic tunes and a caller guiding the dances, there’s no need to worry if you’re new—ceilidhs are all about having fun and making memories.
