Maria is the daughter of a Palestinian father from Gaza who has been living in Belgium since 2022 as an asylum seeker.
Maria is supposed to be with her father since a long time ago, as it’s her right to be reunited with her father.
Muhannad Awad is 31 years old, he applied for asylum in March 2022, and today he is waiting for an interview (interrogation to prove that he deserves protection in Belgium)
Muhannad asked CGRS to finalize his file or accelerate it more than 50 times, he aims to reunite with his family, his wife Samar, and his daughters Maria and Rita. He just wants to hug them out of the danger of being killed or injured.
Regarding international law, Muhannad deserves protection, from his family as well. Belgium is obliged to bring his wife and daughters to Belgium as soon as possible. They are in danger, and they need their father.
Belgium must provide international protection for all Palestinian asylum seekers immediately and automatically.
Belgium must stop being hypocritical and racist.
If something bad happens to Samar, Rita, and Maria, Belgium is the first partner to harm them.
Reunite Muhannad with his family now.
