Last week, we wrapped up the fourth edition of our RISE Conference.

Meet Batch Ltd, one of the sponsors of this year's RISE Conference!

Batch Ltd is the technology arm of the Booksellers Association of the UK and Ireland (BA) and runs the invoicing, returns and ordering systems that liberate booksellers in over 70 countries to spend more time in the shop and less in the back room managing paperwork.

Batch incorporates two free services for retailers: Batch Payments enables booksellers to pay all their GBP, Euro and USD invoices with a single monthly transfer per currency. Batch Returns lets users send a list of ISBNs to their suppliers via the system, which creates a barcoded label. Back at the warehouse, the supplier will scan this label to identify the bookshop and promptly issue a credit.
