.beans is Jan Brems’ solo project. He is lead guitarist and backing vocalist for the Brussels’ based rock band Mr. Brunch.
He released his first solo single in 2020 produced by and in 2021 he did his first livestream session with .gram .
He’s a creative mind who likes to share his music with mysterious and personal short stories on his instagram page.
You’ll hear inspiring and intimate songs based on 1970s folk, rock and roll mixed with ‘90s nostalgia. Warm, sparkly and bright tones that transpire optimism and a sense of longing.
The Eels, Kurt Vile, CSNY, Niel Young, Devendra Banhart, Kris Dane, Alex G, Nick Drake and Sufjan Stevens are some of his musical references.
