Data shows that Gender Based Violence (GBV) risks increase during disasters, but rapid interventions can change that.

The European Union is committed to incorporate protection strategies and respond to GBV in emergencies.

We urge the European Union to continue considering GBV a priority humanitarian issue and to continue advocate for GBV risk mitigation and gender-sensitive humanitarian aid.
