We're pleased to celebrate the launch of the SUNx BestStar Global Institute (SxBGI) - a new global initiative bringing together humanitarian leadership and Climate Friendly Travel to inspire the next generation of changemakers.

Created in The Hague on Earth Charter Day, SxBGI reflects the importance of education and of travel for a more peaceful world for future generations, as well as to honour the memory of the late Maurice Strong, father of the U.N. Sustainable Development Framework.

The Institute will focus on:
• Climate Resilience
• Education to Action
• Peace, inclusion and human connection
• Supporting Small Island & Developing States
• Sustainable Development & Biodiversity Conservation

As we work towards the 2050 Planetary Survival Goals, preparing future generations with the knowledge, values and practical skills to create positive change has never been more important.

At The SUN Program, we believe that Climate Friendly Travel is not only about reducing emissions - it's about building a future where travel contributes to stronger communities, greater resilience and a more peaceful world.

It brings together the long-established worldwide humanitarian work of BestStar Holding and Professor Prof.Dr. Arthur Kurt E., with the dedicated Education to Action programs of SUNx and Professor Geoffrey Lipman.

BIG NEWS from SUNx Malta this World Environment Day!

To combat failing global climate frameworks, we are expanding our "Education to Action" initiative. Next month, we are launching the SUNx BestStar Global Institute (SxBGI) in The Hague, partnering with BestStar Holding Group.

What SxBGI will do:
• Support climate-focused start-ups and new green tech.
• Fund community projects in the Global South.
• Launch a CFT Humanitarian Study Group for family travel.
• Expand the Dodo4Kids climate education campaign globally.

We aren't just talking about change - we are building the infrastructure for it.

Presenting our Latest Publication - The Adventures of the Dodo, now in Ukrainian 🇺🇦

Through storytelling, Dodo4kids introduces young readers to climate awareness, sustainability, nature, and global friendship in an engaging and meaningful way. 🦤

At Valletta, Malta, on the 14th of May, in the presence of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Dr Ian Borg, and with the support of UN Tourism Secretary-General, Shaikha Al Nuwais, the first Ukrainian-language edition of the SUNx Malta Dodo4Kids book was officially presented to Natalya Tabaka, Chairperson of the State Agency for Tourism Development of Ukraine.

From Mauritius to Malta and now Ukraine, Dodo continues its journey to inspire children around the world through stories that educate, connect, and create hope. Because every child can become part of a better future 💙💛
