At the end of our yearly trip to the Gambia, to connect, to execute and participate projects, to follow-up and also enjoy the Gambian life, culture and atmosphere, we 'close' with the Gambiana Volounteering Party in Nyamina Garden Eco-Lodge. To thank all of our volounteers, to show our appreciation and to enjoy.

This year we opened our arms to Floor and Roos, midwifery students from Vroedkunde AP Hogeschool Antwerpen. They performed their practicals with tender and care, and so much warmth. Thanks girls, you both did great!

This year we also welcome Abdoulie and Ansu in our local Gambiana team. We look forward to work together and perform projects with you guys.

The ultrasound machine that we exported last year to Brikama District Hospital is well maintained and used daily. The midwives here conduct up to 50 ultrasound daily, and doctors also use it for non-pregnant patients to save life.
For us, it is very nice to see that this project touches so many lives.

09 april 2026 🇬🇲

Yesterday we drove with part of our team to the Ministry of Health in Banjul. We had an appointment with Dr M. T. Nyassi, the director of health services, to discuss our partnership for health facilities in Western 2 region. Before our longlasting partnership was existing in a verbal way. Yesterday we put in an official Memorandum of Understanding, and signed it all. A nice recognition by the Ministry of Health for our yearlong efforts.
