Last week, YoungShip Belgium had the pleasure of hosting the first edition of Leading Waves: Women Shaping the Maritime Future at MCA Labs, in celebration of International Women’s Day 2026.

It was an inspiring evening filled with open discussions, personal insights, and meaningful exchanges on leadership, challenges, and opportunities for women across the maritime sector. The interactive sessions highlighted the importance of visibility, dialogue, and continued support for the next generation of maritime professionals.
