The International Excecutive Committee is in charge of coordinating Service Civil International - the worldwide peace movement

Currently, since 8th December 2020, the SCI IEC consists of:
- Jackie Purves from Scotland who is the International President,
- Hemamali Perera from Sri Lanka who is the International Vice-President,
- Alexandra Vasileiou from Greece who is the International Treasurer,
- Silvio Martinelli from Italy (but living in Switzerland),
-Parag Sharifuzzaman from Bangladesh and
- Antonios Sifakis from G

reece who are IEC Members,
-Bert Verstappen from the Netherlands (living in Switzerland) is a co-opted IEC Member.
- Chantal Doran, the International Coordinator of SCI, from the Caribbean but based in Belgium, who is the ex-officio IEC Member.

SCI Peace Conference Day & 88th Int'l Committee Meeting completed in Penang, Malaysia.
Thank you to our colleagues of SCI Penang and SCI Kuala Lumpur chapters for their impeccable organization and tremendous support.
A visit to Taiping, Peace town, followed for the inauguration of the Peace mural in the oldest high school.

EPM 2024 in Vienna from 14-20 Oct. Participants from 22 countries from 4 continents discussed on exchanges and on volunteering for peace.

Our Exchange Platform Meeting took place last week in Vienna! For five days, 36 participants from 22 countries around the world exchanged knowledge and built connections.

The week was packed with insightful sessions, lively discussions, proposals preparations, and a vote that will bring change to the SCI movement! We even managed to celebrate two birthdays and explore Vienna's city centre! Events like this make our movement special and resilient!
