NEW ADDITION TO THE LINE UP
We are more than blessed to announce that HIGHER MEDITATION (UK) will be joining us for our next In Unity session.
Born in France and now based in Leicester, Higher Meditation has been carving his path through the world of roots and dub music for many years. Through his deep productions and powerful dubplates, his sound has reached some of the most respected sound systems in the culture, including Jah Shaka, King Shiloh, Iration Steppas, Channel One and Blackboard Jungle.
Rooted in the teachings of pioneers such as King Tubby, Scientist, Jah Shaka, The Disciples and Alpha & Omega, Higher Meditation carries forward the spirit of traditional dub while bringing his own modern touch and vision.
Since his first release in 2016 on the French label Skank O’Clock, he has worked with respected labels including Scorcher Hi-Fi, LionsDen, Roots Youths, All Nations Records and Jah Waggys. In 2018, he founded his own label and continued sharing his music through collaborations with artists such as Michael Rose, Nia, Songbird and Joshua Hales.
Together with his own homemade sound system, he continues to spread heavyweight roots and dub vibrations across the UK, Europe and South America, performing alongside big names such as Aba Shanti-I, Iration Steppas, Jah Youth and WSP.
Expect deep roots, heavy basslines and conscious vibrations, Higher Meditation will bring the King David Style to Antwerp.
