A championship of records, dedication and inspiration 🌊

The 2026 CMAS World Championship Freediving Indoor in Novi Sad, Serbia brought together 213 participants from 34 countries for an unforgettable celebration of freediving.

Across the competition, an incredible 52 new records were achieved:

🏆 14 World Records
🌎 19 America Continental Records
🌏 10 Asia Continental Records
🌊 7 Oceania Continental Records
🌍 2 Europe Continental Records

Of these records, 40 existing records were beaten, while 12 new records were established with no previous record.

The records were achieved across every age group and category:

• 7 Junior records
• 23 Senior records
• 22 Masters records
• 30 Men’s records
• 22 Women’s records

From DNF to DYN-BF, DYN, STA, 2x50 m, 4x50 m and 8x50 m, the championship showed the full strength, discipline and diversity of CMAS Freediving.

A special congratulations to all athletes who pushed limits, broke records and inspired the freediving community around the world.

To every athlete, coach, official and team: thank you.

Your discipline, courage, strength and endurance continue to inspire us all.
