REPN is an organization focused on environmental protection within the context of the Rohingya refugee response in Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh.

The Rohingya Environmental Protection Network formerly Environmental Protection Working in coordinates climate action and environmental sustainability in Cox’s Bazar’s refugee response It promotes awareness and protection, main focus, Environmental Prote. It functions as a network promoting climate change mitigation and environmental sustainability efforts within the Rohingya refugee camps and sur

rounding areas. REPN acts as a think tank, generating solutions, providing technical advice, and offering recommendations to partners and various sectors involved in the refugee response. The network emphasizes a holistic landscape approach, ensuring coordination among partners and promoting environmental mainstreaming across different sectors.

To empower Rohingya Community in leading sustainable environmental initiatives by raising awareness, promoting eco-friendly practices, and protecting natural resources within the community, thereby fostering resilience, responsibility, and a healthier environment for present and future generations, REPN is struggling to make a healthier life and environment for everyone to survive today and tomorrow, REPN Organisation standing against bad pollution merely to survive in life with nature,Through this empowerment, we cultivate a profound sense of collective responsibility, ensuring the creation of a healthier, more sustainable environment for both present and future generations.

REPN is driven by the urgent need to Protect and restore the fragile ecosystem within and around the camps. Promote sustainable practices such as waste management, tree plantation, and clean energy solutions additionally linging awareness we can send messages to our Rohingya community, 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗼𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘆𝗮 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗯𝘆 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝗶𝗻 𝗲𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗰𝘆 , build resilience against climate change impacts in vulnerable camp communities.

The human trafficking training sessions were highly interactive and enriched by meaningful participant feedback. Attendees actively engage in discussions, sharing their practical experiences and personal perspectives on the issue. This exchange of knowledge not only deepened collective understanding but also highlighted existing awareness levels and gaps.

The participatory approach created a collaborative learning environment, enabling participants to connect theoretical concepts with real-life contexts and strengthen their capacity to identify, prevent, and respond to human trafficking in their communities.

Yesterday marked a powerful step forward in our fight against human trafficking.

We successfully conducted a comprehensive awareness training with the active participation of 34+ individuals committed to change. The first day focused on building a strong foundation—covering orientation, deep insights into human trafficking, practical risk prevention strategies, and engaging discussions that sparked critical thinking and shared learning.

This is more than a training it’s the beginning of informed action, community resilience, and collective responsibility. Together, we are strengthening voices, protecting lives, and building a safer future.

Earth Day 2026, as Cox’s Bazar faces deforestation and landslide risks from hosting nearly 1.5 million refugees, REPN a youth-led Rohingya initiative clears hazards, plants trees, and promotes sustainable cooking to reduce firewood demand.

Their grassroots work embodies Our Power, Our Planet, proving that displaced communities are not just victims of environmental damage, but frontline defenders of it.
