WAVE's youth platform Youth Assembly, organized a hybrid seminar titled "Study Abroad: Opportunities, Scholarships, and Career Pathways" in collaboration with Veritas Edutech Limited and Risho Speech on 10 June 2026 at WAVE Foundation Head Office.

The seminar provided participants with first-hand information from international experts. Mr. Michael Ho, Career Adviser, United Kingdom, and Mr. Piotr Fąfara, Higher Education and Career Adviser from Poland conducted two sessions where they shared practical insights on university admissions, scholarship opportunities, residence permits, employment prospects, global talent visa programme, and legal migration opportunities abroad.

ওয়েভ ফাউন্ডেশন এর প্রতিষ্ঠাতা ও নির্বাহী পরিচালক জনাব মহসিন আলী বিগত ৪-৭ জুন ২০২৬ চুয়াডাঙ্গায় সংস্থার চলমান বিভিন্ন কার্যক্রম পরিদর্শন করেন । পাশাপাশি পূর্বনির্ধারিত কিছু সভায় উপস্থিত থেকে প্রয়োজনীয় দিকনির্দেশনা প্রদান করেন। সংস্থার প্রাক্তন জেনারেল বডি’র সদস্য এ কে এম শহীদুল আলমের ‘স্মরণ সভা’য় অংশগ্রহণ, কোষাঘাটায় এগ্রোইকোলজি লার্নিং এন্ড ট্যুরিজম সেন্টার (Agroecology Learning and Tourism Center-ALTC) ও ফার্মারস স্কুলসহ বিভিন্ন কম্পোনেন্টের স্থান নির্বাচন এবং ওয়েভ ট্রেনিং সেন্টারে “Youth Connect: Youth Green Entrepreneurship Development” প্রকল্পের ১৫টি গ্রীন বিজনেস উদ্যোগের ৩০ জন উদ্যোক্তাকে ‘সংবর্ধনা প্রদান’ অনুষ্ঠানে তিনি যোগদান করেন । এছাড়াও তিনি পিকেএসএফ- এর সহযোগিতায় পরিচালিত SICIP প্রকল্পের আওতায় বাস্তবায়িত ট্রেড কোর্সসমুহের প্রশিক্ষণ কার্যক্রম পরিদর্শন করেন এবং প্রশিক্ষণের মান ধরে রাখার বিষয়ে দিক নির্দেশনা দেন। ক্ষুদ্রঋণসহ সংস্থার চলমান অন্যান্য কার্যক্রমের অগ্রগতি পর্যালোচনা এবং ভবিষ্যৎ কর্মপরিকল্পনা বাস্তবায়নে মূল্যবান পরামর্শ প্রদান করেন । তাঁর পরিদর্শনকালীন সময়ে উপ-নির্বাহী পরিচালকসহ সিনিয়র ম্যানেজমেন্ট টিমের কয়েকজন সদস্য ও মাঠপর্যায়ের কর্মকর্তাগন উপস্থিত ছিলেন ।

What happens when the voices of the most climate-vulnerable communities are finally heard?

In the coastal districts of Patuakhali and Barguna, where climate change is not a distant threat but a daily reality, communities are stepping forward to shape the decisions that affect their lives.

Through Strengthening Climate Governance with Grassroots Participation in Bangladesh (SCGGP) project, WAVE Foundation with support from World Resources Institute (WRI) is advancing a vision of climate governance where people are not just beneficiaries, they are decision-makers.

This documentary captures the journey of communities, local governments, youth, civil society representatives, media professionals, and policymakers coming together to strengthen climate justice, disaster preparedness, transparency and accountability. From community consultations and social audits to the National Climate Governance Symposium, the initiative has created a platform where local voices influence planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
