১৮ লাখ ৩৫ হাজার কোটি টাকার সরকারি ঋণ রেখে দেশ থেকে পালিয়েছেন সদ্য ক্ষমতাচ্যুত প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনা।
অথচ ২০০৯ সালে শেখ হাসিনা যখন ক্ষমতা গ্রহণ করেন, তখন সরকারের ঋণ স্থিতি ছিল মাত্র ২ লাখ ৭৬ হাজার ৮৩০ কোটি টাকা। সে হিসাবে আওয়ামী লীগের দেড় দশকের শাসনামলেই সরকারের ঋণ স্থিতি ১৫ লাখ ৫৮ হাজার ২০৬ কোটি টাকা বেড়েছে।
