SJA stands in solidarity with the movement against violence, r**e, murder, and abuse of women and children.

SJA participated in the Human Chain organized by Bangladesh Mahila Parishad, calling for justice, safety, dignity, and protection for all women and children.

We believe that every act of violence must be investigated promptly, perpetrators must be brought to justice, and the rights and dignity of women and children must be protected.

Safety and dignity are fundamental rights, not privileges.

Strengthening Teachers, Empowering Education.

Teachers play a vital role in shaping the future of children. To strengthen their skills and enhance the quality of pre-primary education, SJA organized a two-day Teachers’ Training on 14 and 15 August, facilitated by two experienced primary education experts.

The training focused on strengthening teachers’ knowledge, teaching approaches, and classroom practices to create a more engaging and effective learning environment for children.

Investing in teachers today means investing in a better future for every child.

প্রতিষ্ঠানের পরিচিতি: সিলেট যুব একাডেমী (SJA) একটি স্বেচ্ছাসেবী উন্নয়ন সংস্থা, যা শিক্ষা, শিশু সুরক্ষা, নারী ক্ষমতায়ন, যুব উন্নয়ন, জীবিকায়ন, স্বাস্থ্য সচেতনতা এবং কমিউনিটি উন্নয়নসহ বিভিন্ন সামাজিক উন্নয়নমূলক কার্যক্রম বাস্তবায়ন করে আসছে।

দায়িত্ব ও কর্তব্য
নিয়োগপ্রাপ্ত আউটরীচ সুপারভাইজারকে নিম্নোক্ত দায়িত্বসমূহ পালন করতে হবে—
• আউটরীচ কর্মীদের কার্যক্রম পরিকল্পনা, তত্ত্বাবধান ও সমন্বয় করা।
• নিয়মিত হোম ভিজিট, কমিউনিটি ভিজিট ও মাঠ পর্যায়ের কার্যক্রম পর্যবেক্ষণ ও তদারকি করা।
• উপকারভোগী সনাক্তকরণ, প্রয়োজন নিরূপণ এবং প্রয়োজনীয় সেবার জন্য রেফারেল কার্যক্রমে দিকনির্দেশনা প্রদান করা।
• শিশু সুরক্ষা, শিক্ষা, স্বাস্থ্য, জীবিকায়ন ও সামাজিক উন্নয়নমূলক কার্যক্রমের অগ্রগতি পর্যবেক্ষণ ও তদারকি করা।
• কমিউনিটি সভা (উঠান বৈঠক), অভিভাবক সভা, সচেতনতামূলক কার্যক্রম ও বিভিন্ন ক্যাম্পেইন পরিচালনায় নেতৃত্ব প্রদান করা।
• দৈনিক, সাপ্তাহিক ও মাসিক প্রতিবেদন প্রস্তুত করে যথাসময়ে কর্তৃপক্ষের নিকট দাখিল করা।
• প্রকল্পের নীতিমালা, শিশু সুরক্ষা নীতি (Child Safeguarding Policy), আচরণবিধি (Code of Conduct) এবং অন্যান্য সাংগঠনিক নীতিমালার যথাযথ বাস্তবায়ন নিশ্চিত করা।
• কর্তৃপক্ষের নির্দেশনা অনুযায়ী প্রকল্প-সংশ্লিষ্ট অন্যান্য দায়িত্ব পালন করা।

শিক্ষাগত যোগ্যতা
• সমাজকর্ম, সমাজবিজ্ঞান, উন্নয়ন অধ্যয়ন, রাষ্ট্রবিজ্ঞান বা সংশ্লিষ্ট বিষয়ে ন্যূনতম স্নাতক ডিগ্রি।
• অভিজ্ঞতা সম্পন্ন প্রার্থীদের ক্ষেত্রে শিক্ষাগত যোগ্যতা শিথিলযোগ্য।
অভিজ্ঞতা
• উন্নয়ন সংস্থা/এনজিওতে কমপক্ষে ১–২ বছরের মাঠ পর্যায়ের কাজের অভিজ্ঞতা।
• সুপারভাইজরি দায়িত্ব পালনের অভিজ্ঞতা থাকলে অগ্রাধিকার দেওয়া হবে।
• শিশু, নারী, শিক্ষা, কমিউনিটি উন্নয়ন বা সুরক্ষা বিষয়ক প্রকল্পে কাজের অভিজ্ঞতা অতিরিক্ত যোগ্যতা হিসেবে বিবেচিত হবে।
প্রয়োজনীয় দক্ষতা
• নেতৃত্ব ও দল পরিচালনায় দক্ষতা।
• বাংলা ভাষায় প্রতিবেদন প্রস্তুতের সক্ষমতা; ইংরেজিতে মৌলিক যোগাযোগ দক্ষতা।
• কম্পিউটার পরিচালনায় দক্ষতা (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint এবং ইন্টারনেট ব্যবহার)।
• মাঠ পর্যায়ে সরাসরি উপকারভোগীদের সাথে কাজ করার মানসিকতা এবং নিয়মিত ভ্রমনের সক্ষমতা।
বয়স
• সাধারণত ২৫ থেকে ৪০ বছর (যোগ্য প্রার্থীর ক্ষেত্রে বয়স শিথিলযোগ্য)।
বেতন ও অন্যান্য সুবিধা
• সর্বসাকুল্যে মাসিক বেতন ২১,২৭২/- (একুশ হাজার দুইশত বাহাত্তোর) টাকা।
• প্রতিষ্ঠানের নীতিমালা অনুযায়ী অন্যান্য সুবিধা প্রযোজ্য হবে।
আবেদন পদ্ধতি

আগ্রহী প্রার্থীদের হালনাগাদ জীবনবৃত্তান্ত (CV), সদ্য তোলা পাসপোর্ট সাইজের ছবি, শিক্ষাগত যোগ্যতার সনদের কপি এবং জাতীয় পরিচয়পত্রের কপিসহ আবেদনপত্র নির্ধারিত সময়ের মধ্যে জমা দিতে হবে।

Our Sewing and Tailoring Training Centre equips participants with essential tailoring skills, helping them build confidence, achieve financial independence, and create sustainable livelihood opportunities.

Together, we are stitching a future of dignity, self-reliance, and opportunity-one skill at a time.

With the generous support of two compassionate individuals, Mr. Shamsuddin Ahmed and Md. Badrul Alom, SJA provided a vegetable and food cart along with working capital to a vulnerable beneficiary, enabling them to start a small business. The support was handed over in the presence of the Honorable Deputy Director of the Department of Social Services, Sylhet, Mr. Md. Abdur Rafique.

This initiative will help the beneficiary earn a sustainable income, achieve greater financial independence, and support their family with dignity.

We sincerely express our heartfelt gratitude to our two kind-hearted donors for their generosity and commitment to making a positive difference in someone's life.

Together, we can create opportunities, restore hope, and build a brighter future for those who need it most.

The meeting brought together EC members to review ongoing programs, discuss key achievements & challenges, & make strategic decisions for SJA’s future.

Today, SJA with the financial support of Muslim Charity (MC), successfully completed the final distribution of nutritious food packs and hygiene kits under this three-year project.

Over the past three years, the project has supported vulnerable children by providing nutritious food and essential hygiene supplies, helping improve their health and well-being. It has also raised awareness among children, parents, and community members about the importance of nutrition, hygiene, and healthy living.

Every food pack, hygiene kit, and awareness session has been a step towards giving children a healthier start in life.
