Rotaract is the rotary international`s community service program for young adults aged between 18-30 years was inaugurated during R.I. On 13 March 1968, the rotaract club of North Carolina, sponsored by the rotary club of North Carolina, USA. this club is recognized as the fast rotaract club in this world. Today rotaract continues to experience phenomenal growth. There are currently more than 12,8

00 rotaract clubs in more Than 182 countries, with an estimated membership of more than 2,13,000 rotaractors. As the program continues to grow, rotaractors repeatedly show that they are prepared for “Fellowship through Service”. The goals of rotaract
To develop professional and leadership skills
To emphasize respect for the right of others based on recognition of the worth of each individual. To recognize the dignity and value of all useful occupations as opportunities to serve
To recognize, practice and promote ethical standards as leadership Qualities and vocational Responsibilities. To develop knowledge and understanding of the needs, problem and opportunities in the community and worldwide
To provide opportunities for personal and group activities to serve the community and promote international understanding and goodwill toward all people

স্মরণকালের ইতিহাসে এক ভয়াবহ বন্যার কবলে দেশের দক্ষিণ- পূর্ব অঞ্চল। বন্যা পরিস্থিতির ভয়াবহতা বেড়ে চলেছে প্রতিটি মূহুর্তেই। দুর্দশাগ্রস্থ মানুষগুলো হয়ে পড়েছে আরও অসহায়।

এই অসহায় মানুষের পাশে দাঁড়াতে সরকারি ও বেসরকারিভাবে অথবা ব্যক্তিগতভাবেও নেয়া হচ্ছে বিভিন্ন পদক্ষেপ। আমরা, লিডিং ইউনিভার্সিটির সকল শিক্ষার্থীরা এক হয়ে পাশে দাঁড়াতে চাই এই বন্যার প্রকোপে নিরুপায় মানুষের।
