World Children’s Day 2025: The Day the World

Learns to Listen

For most people, November 20 is just another date on a calendar. A small box. A line you read and forget. But for millions of children, it is one of the rare days when the world pauses long enough to listen to them.
World Children’s Day in 2025 is built on one clear idea: If you want to understand the true health of a society, look at how its children are living.

Children Speak the Truth Adults Avoid

Children do not soften their words. They describe life exactly as they feel it. The long walk to school. The fear that waits outside their homes. The dreams that feel heavy because nobody takes them seriously. Their voices may be quiet, but the honesty in them is unmistakable. This day asks the world to listen with real attention, not out of formality.

Letting Children Lead

This year, children are taking the lead in classrooms, community halls, and media spaces. They are hosting discussions, questioning leaders, and speaking about issues adults often control. These are not staged moments. They show that children understand fairness, safety, and opportunity with a clarity adults often forget.

Blue Lights and Unseen Realities

🦠 World Antibiotic Awareness Week (18–24 November)

Antibiotics save millions of lives every year, but their misuse is creating a global threat: Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR).
When antibiotics are taken unnecessarily or incorrectly, bacteria become resistant, making infections harder or even impossible to treat.

This week, SUST Science Arena (SSA) stands with the global initiative to raise awareness and encourage responsible antibiotic use.

🔍 Remember:

1. Do not take antibiotics without a doctor’s prescription.
2. Never use leftover antibiotics or share them with others.
3. Complete the full course exactly as prescribed.
4. Practice good hygiene to prevent infections in the first place.
5. Let’s work together to protect the effectiveness of antibiotics for future generations.

Sajed Ahmed এর বাবা মোঃ মুজিবুর রহমান লিভার ক্যন্সারে (HCC) আক্রান্ত। গত ২৩ আগস্ট সিটি স্ক্যান এবং পরে বায়োপসি টেস্ট করে ক্যান্সার নিশ্চিত হওয়া গেছে। বিভিন্ন ডাক্তারের পরামর্শ নেয়ার পর ইমিউনো থেরাপি দেয়া শুরু হয় গত ৯ অক্টোবর।

Oncologists Prof. Zafor Md. Masud স্যার প্রাথমিকভাবে ৬ সাইকেল মেডিসিন নিতে বলেছেন যা ২১ দিন পর পর। এর মধ্যে ২য় সাইকেল গত ৩১অক্টোবর সম্পন্ন হয় এবং ৩য় সাইকেল ২২ নভেম্বর দেয়া হবে ইনশাআল্লাহ।
