We are pleased to share that a delegation from SUSTMUNA recently participated in BUPIMUN 2025, representing the organization with dedication.

Delegates who participated in the conference were:

SUST Model United Nations Association has proudly participated in BUFTIMUN 2025, where our delegates carried the spirit of SUSTMUNA with dedication and enthusiasm.

We are delighted to announce that Mohammad Fahad Rohan earned the Outstanding Delegate Award in the committee World Trade Organization (WTO) as the delegate of India, in recognition of his remarkable performance.

Alongside him, our two other talented delegates also participated with commitment and perseverance:

Mohammad Saifuddin - United Nations Security Council (UNSC) - Republic of Korea

Afnan - International Press (IP) - Nikkei Asia

We wholeheartedly congratulate each of them for representing SUSTMUNA with such passion and purpose, proving yet again that diplomacy is at the heart of what we do.

The school bag did not just carry some books, it carried dreams, goals, expectations, affection, determination. The hands that filled the water bottle and packed it in the bag, is now pointing fingers at the system that failed to protect the bag that carried such heavy weight. No amount of words would stand close to expressing the loss that has been caused.

SUSTMUNA stands in solidarity with the injured and the bereaved. May strength and healing reach every soul affected by this tragedy.

MUNLOCKED UNVEILED!

SUSTMUNA has successfully arranged a workshop MUNLOCKED on July 17, 2025.
The purpose of this workshop was to make the participants experience an interactive, hands-on session to become familiarized with the world of diplomacy , negotiation and leadership, in terms of both global and domestic politics. The workshop was designed to break down how MUN works, prepare new participants, and guide them through the MUN journey — from researching global topics to confidently speaking in committee sessions.

A mock session was conducted to give the new faces a firsthand experience of MUN committee sessions, in which SUSTMUNA's experienced members took on delegate roles and engaged in a live simulation. Our respected alumni and former President Nawshin Tasfia Audri and former General Secretary Fayeem Shakil oversaw the session, guiding the participants on parliamentary process, speech structure, and diplomatic behavior. The mock session sparked a desire for argumentative discussion on national and global affairs among the participants.

The workshop was only the beginning of our attempt to introduce the new students of SUST to MUN. But to get the most of what this platform offers, everyone is invited to the Intra SUST MUN conference, the Diplomatic Amalgamation 2025 on August 1-2. The world of diplomacy is waiting for you!
