Warm congratulations to Team SUST Autodrive, from SWE Society!

At the prestigious Bosch Future Mobility Challenge 2026 in Romania, the team has secured a place in the semifinals, ranking among the top 22 teams out of 163 teams worldwide.

We are also proud to share that Md. Redwan Hasan (2021–22), from Software Engineering Department, is leading the software team as the Tech Lead.

We wish the team great success in the upcoming stage in Romania and hope they proudly represent SUST and Bangladesh on the international stage.

আজ ২১শে ফেব্রুয়ারি, আন্তর্জাতিক মাতৃভাষা দিবস। ১৯৫২ সালের এই দিনে বাংলার দামাল ছেলেরা বুকের তাজা রক্ত ঢেলে দিয়ে রক্ষা করেছিল আমাদের মায়ের ভাষা, আমাদের অস্তিত্ব।
সেই শোকাবহ কিন্তু গর্বিত ইতিহাসকে বুকে ধারণ করে, আজ SWE Society, SUST-এর পক্ষ থেকে আমরা বিনম্র শ্রদ্ধায় ফুল দিয়েছি কেন্দ্রীয় শহীদ মিনারে। আমাদের প্রতিটি বর্ণমালার মাঝে বেঁচে থাকুক সেই অমর শহীদদের আত্মত্যাগ।
মাতৃভাষার প্রতি এই ভালোবাসা শুধু আজকের দিনে সীমাবদ্ধ না থাকুক, বরং ছড়িয়ে পড়ুক আমাদের প্রতিটি কাজে ও চেতনায়।
বিনম্র শ্রদ্ধা: সালাম, বরকত, রফিক, জব্বারসহ সকল ভাষা শহীদদের প্রতি।

We dreamed, we fought, and we gave everything we had.
Some moments made us smile, some left us in silence — this is cricket, this is emotion.

Losing hurts, especially when the effort was real and the belief was strong. But defeat doesn’t erase the journey, the teamwork, or the lessons we carry forward.

Our team delivered a dominant performance today, securing a convincing 2 - 0 victory against Civil Engineering!

Anon put us ahead in the first half with a composed, clean finish. In the second half, Rizbi doubled our lead with a spectacular free-kick, sealing the win in style. While the goals stole the spotlight, the entire team played at an absolutely outstanding level from start to finish. A memorable match and a well-deserved victory for the SWE team!

আমাদের সফটওয়্যার প্রকৌশল বিভাগের ২০২২-২৩ শিক্ষাবর্ষের শিক্ষার্থী অমিত বনিক গত দুইদিন ধরে মাউন্ট এডোরা হসপিটালে ভর্তি। গত পরশুদিন (১লা নভেম্বর) দুপুরে সে তপোবনের সামনে হঠাৎ অচেতন হয়ে পড়ে। তৎক্ষনাৎ তাকে মাউন্ড এডোরা-তে ভর্তি করানো হয়।

প্রথমদিকে অমিতকে কেবিনে রাখা হয়েছিল, ততক্ষণে বিভিন্ন পরীক্ষাও সম্পন্ন করা হয়েছিল। রিপোর্টে তাঁর ডেঙ্গু পজিটিভ, ইউরিন ইনফেকশন শনাক্ত হয়। কিন্তু মাঝরাতের দিকে রক্তে পটাশিয়াম ও সোডিয়ামের পরিমাণ ব্যাপকভাবে হ্রাস করলে অবস্থার অবনতি ঘটে এবং তাকে HDU (High Dependency Unit)-তে স্থানান্তর করা হয়। রক্তে প্লাটিলেট কমে যাওয়া, কেমিক্যাল ইমব্যালেন্স এবং আরও কয়েকটি জটিলতার কারণে গতকাল থেকে বেশিরভাগ সময়ই সে অচেতন অবস্থায় রয়েছে এবং ঠিকঠাকভাবে কাউকে চিনতে পারছে না। এছাড়াও সবচেয়ে উদ্বেগজনক বিষয় হচ্ছে — সোডিয়াম ও পটাশিয়াম লেভেল ক্রমাগত কমে যাচ্ছে। ১ তারিখ রাতে সোডিয়াম লেভেল ১২৪ মি.মোল এ নেমে যায়, পরে ২ তারিখ সন্ধ্যায় সেটা দ্রুত ১১৬ মি.মোল এ নেমে যায়। লাস্ট রিপোর্ট অনুসারে আপাতত সোডিয়াম লেভেল ১২৬মি.মোল এ আছে।

ডাক্তাররা উনাদের সর্বোচ্চ চেষ্টা করে যাইতেসেন, সোডিয়াম লেভেল বাড়ানোর চেষ্টা করা হইতেসে। আপাতত বডিতে বাহির থেকে সোডিয়াম পুশ করা হইতেসে। আমরা সকলেই অমিতের দ্রুত সুস্থতার জন্য মহান আল্লাহ তায়ালার কাছে দোয়া করি। সৃষ্টিকর্তা যেন তাঁকে দ্রুত সুস্থতা দান করেন, সে যেন দ্রুত আমাদের মাঝে ফিরে আসতে পারে এই দোয়া করি।
