FON Asia Partner Meet 2026 | Bangkok, Thailand | Day 2

Day 2 of the FON Asia Partner Meet was filled with insightful discussions, learning, and collective reflection. The sessions focused on Celebrating Movement Histories, Disability Rights and Justice, and the continuation of important conversations on advancing inclusion, equity, and human rights for all.

We also explored Navigating the Internet Safely, discussing digital security, risk management, online hygiene, and the responsibilities of human rights defenders in protecting themselves and the communities they serve in an increasingly digital world.

These sessions reinforced the importance of solidarity, accessibility, and safe advocacy in building a more just and inclusive society. Grateful for the opportunity to learn from diverse activists, organizations, and partners across Asia.

Representing Ashar Alo, I am honored to contribute to these meaningful conversations and strengthen regional collaboration for social justice and human rights.

Youth for Just Energy Transition (Y-JET): Powering Tomorrow's Energy 🌍

Today, young changemakers of Ashar Alo Youth welfare association came together to explore the future of sustainable and equitable energy through the Youth Capacity Building Workshop on Just Energy Transition organized by YOUCAN , YouthforCARE, The Earth and Climate camp.

From understanding clean energy solutions to discussing climate justice, energy access, and the role of youth in shaping policy, this workshop empowered participants with the knowledge and skills needed to drive a fair transition toward a greener future.

The energy transition is not just about technology—it's about people, communities, and ensuring that no one is left behind.

🌏 FON Asia Partner Meet 2026 | Bangkok, Thailand

We are delighted to share that Mahfuz Alam, Founder of Ashar Alo and a dedicated Youth Activist, is participating in the FON Asia Partner Meet 2026 in Bangkok, Thailand, representing Sourdhya Alliance.

The first day of the meeting brought together partners and youth leaders from across Asia to exchange experiences, discuss emerging challenges, and explore collaborative approaches to advancing human rights, youth empowerment, and inclusive development. The sessions provided a valuable platform for learning, networking, and strengthening regional partnerships.

✈️ Ashar Alo Founder and Youth Activist Mahfuz Alam Travels to Bangkok for an International Program

We are delighted to share that Mahfuz Alam, Founder of Ashar Alo and a dedicated youth activist, is traveling to Bangkok to participate in an international program.

This opportunity will bring together participants from different countries to exchange knowledge, experiences, and best practices on youth leadership, human rights, social inclusion, and community development. Through this engagement, Mahfuz will have the chance to strengthen global networks and gain valuable insights that can contribute to the ongoing work of Ashar Alo in supporting marginalized communities.

His participation reflects not only a personal achievement but also an important opportunity to represent the voices of young people and grassroots initiatives from Bangladesh on an international platform.

"রক্ত দিন, জীবন বাঁচান, মানবতার পাশে দাঁড়ান।"

আজ বিশ্ব রক্তদাতা দিবসে আশার আলো যুব কল্যাণ সংস্থা গভীর শ্রদ্ধা ও কৃতজ্ঞতার সাথে স্মরণ করছে সেই সকল স্বেচ্ছায় রক্তদাতাদের, যাদের এক ব্যাগ রক্ত অসংখ্য মানুষের জীবনে নতুন আশার আলো জ্বালায়।

প্রতিদিন দুর্ঘটনা, অস্ত্রোপচার, থ্যালাসেমিয়া, ক্যান্সারসহ বিভিন্ন রোগে আক্রান্ত অসংখ্য মানুষের জীবন বাঁচাতে নিরাপদ রক্তের প্রয়োজন হয়। একজন স্বেচ্ছায় রক্তদাতা শুধু রক্তই দান করেন না, তিনি দান করেন একটি জীবন, একটি পরিবারের হাসি এবং নতুন করে বেঁচে থাকার স্বপ্ন।

আসুন, আমরা সবাই নিয়মিত ও স্বেচ্ছায় রক্তদানে এগিয়ে আসি এবং অন্যদেরও উদ্বুদ্ধ করি। মানবতার এই মহান কাজে অংশগ্রহণ করে গড়ে তুলি একটি সুস্থ, নিরাপদ ও সহমর্মী সমাজ।

🌟 Ashar Alo Youth Participate in Preparatory Meeting for Youth Empowerment

The youth representatives of Ashar Alo Youth Welfare Association actively participated in the Preparatory Meeting on Boot Camp with CSO Youth under the “Loud and Clear: Empowering Youth Voices 2.0 Project”, held in Sylhet.

The meeting brought together young leaders and civil society youth representatives to discuss youth engagement, leadership development, civic participation, and strategies for strengthening youth voices in social change initiatives. It provided a valuable platform for sharing experiences, exchanging ideas, and preparing for upcoming capacity-building activities.
