মানবতার টানে, মানুষের জীবন বাঁচানোর প্রত্যয়ে স্বেচ্ছায় ১৯ বার রক্তদান করেছেন আশার আলোর প্রতিষ্ঠাতা ও মানবাধিকারকর্মী মাহফুজ আলম। ❤️🩸

রক্তদান শুধু একটি মহৎ কাজ নয়, এটি মানুষের প্রতি ভালোবাসা, সহমর্মিতা ও মানবিক দায়িত্ববোধের এক অনন্য দৃষ্টান্ত। তাঁর এই মহৎ উদ্যোগ আমাদের অনুপ্রাণিত করে—মানুষের পাশে দাঁড়াতে, মানবতার সেবায় এগিয়ে আসতে এবং রক্তদানের মতো মহৎ কাজে অন্যদের উৎসাহিত করতে।

এক ব্যাগ রক্ত বাঁচাতে পারে একটি প্রাণ, ফিরিয়ে দিতে পারে একটি পরিবারের মুখে হাসি। আসুন, আমরা সবাই স্বেচ্ছায় রক্তদানে এগিয়ে আসি এবং মানবতার বন্ধনকে আরও দৃঢ় করি।

Ashar Alo proudly presents its first publication, “Voices Unsilenced”, a collection that brings forward stories, experiences, and voices that are often unheard or overlooked in society.

Today, copies of “Voices Unsilenced” were handed over to inspiring members of the community who courageously shared their stories and lived experiences as part of this publication. ❤️

The copies were also shared with representatives of civil society in Sylhet, whose support and commitment to building a more inclusive, equal, and accepting society continue to inspire us.

This book is more than a publication. It is a reflection of courage, identity, lived experiences, and the power of sharing our stories. Every story reminds us that every voice matters, every experience deserves to be heard, and everyone has the right to tell their own story.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who trusted us with their stories and to all the community and civil society representatives who joined us in making this journey meaningful.

May these stories inspire change, amplify unheard voices, and contribute to creating a more inclusive and accepting society.

Protect Children, Build a Safer Future!

With the initiative of Ashar Alo Youth Welfare Association, an awareness campaign was organized to raise awareness about protecting children from the harmful effects of lead pollution and the growing risks of cyber harassment.

The campaign aimed to increase awareness of the adverse effects of lead exposure on children's health and development, while highlighting the importance of protecting children from online harassment, abuse, and other digital threats.

We believe that every child has the right to grow up in a safe, healthy, and supportive environment. Ensuring children's safety requires collective efforts from families, educational institutions, communities, and all relevant stakeholders.

Let us work together to create a lead-safe environment and a safer digital world for every child. Together, we can protect children's rights and build a healthier, safer, and brighter future for the next generation. 💚

Ensuring Cyber Safety for Children Creating a safe digital environment for children is a shared responsibility.

A discussion session was organized by the Sylhet Unit of BLAST, on behalf of the Cyber Support for Children and Women Coalition, focusing on protecting children in cyberspace, raising awareness about online risks, and ensuring a safer digital environment for them.

Members of Ashar Alo Youth Welfare Association participated in the discussion, demonstrating their commitment to child protection, digital safety, and the prevention of cyber harassment and online abuse.

We believe that through awareness, collaboration, and collective action, we can build a safer, more inclusive, and child-friendly digital world where every child can explore the online space without fear.
