Media & Publication Affairs Discusses Talkshow Restart, Recruitment and Promotion Plans

Joint Secretary General Md Shakawat Hossen, HCPSC held a short discussion with Media Secretary Syed Nazmus Sakib, SCPSC and Joint Secretary Kamrul Hasan, CCBHS, CCPC following the central meeting on May 07, 2026.

After the meeting, the Joint Secretary General sat with the Media and Publication Affairs team to discuss several important organizational matters. The discussion focused on restarting talkshows, strengthening media coverage, launching new recruitment activities, promotional planning, and several other ongoing affairs related to the CAWAB.

During the discussion, Media Secretary Syed Nazmus Sakib, SCPSC assured that the discussed plans and activities would be implemented soon in a proper and organized manner.

CAWAB Officially Opens Life Membership for All Cantonmentians

The Central Committee of CAWAB has officially announced the opening of membership for all Cantonmentians.

In the Central Meeting held on May 7, 2026, an important decision was adopted regarding the membership structure of the organization. As per the constitution of CAWAB, the official Life Membership fee is fixed at BDT 200,000. However, considering the initial stage of organizational expansion and member engagement, the Central Committee has approved a special introductory offer for the first 100 members.

Under this special decision, the Life Membership fee for the first 100 members has been fixed at only BDT 5,000.

Following this historic decision, the first five Life Members of CAWAB are:
1. Chief Advisor Commodore Md Khurshid Malik (Retd), ndu, psc, SRCS – 1st Life Member
2. Chairman Dr Anawarul Qauder Nazim, SCPSC – 2nd Life Member
3. Vice Chairman Dr Mohammad Kamruzzaman, SCPSC – 3rd Life Member
4. Alumni Affairs Secretary A M Ashraf Uddin, SCPSC – 4th Life Member
5. Treasurer Md Abdullah Al Nahid, BCBHS, BCPSC – 5th Life Member

All five members officially handed over their membership fees to the Treasurer during the meeting.

The leadership of CAWAB expressed optimism that this initiative will strengthen unity, networking, and welfare activities among Cantonmentians across the country.

First Central Meeting of CAWAB successfully held at RAOWA Club

The first Central Meeting of the Cantonmentians’ Alliance & Welfare Association of Bangladesh (CAWAB) was successfully held at RAOWA Club on Thursday, May 07, 2026, with the participation of 17 members from the Advisory Council, Central Executive Board, and Board of Directors.

The meeting was chaired by Chairman Dr. Anawarul Quader Nazim, SCPSC and hosted by Chief Advisor Commodore (Retd.) Md Khurshid Malik, ndu, psc, SRCS.

Key decisions included CAWAB registration under the Ministry of Social Welfare, constitution drafting, confirmation of the official office at MK Tower, Savar, and approval of a special Life Membership fee of BDT 5,000 for the first 100 members.

CAWAB also set its three-month priorities, focusing on registration, constitution finalization, and enrollment of the first 100 Life Members, reaffirming its commitment to unity and welfare for cantonmentians across Bangladesh.

Remembering Martyr Squadron Leader Asim Jawwad on his 2nd death anniversary with profound respect and honor.

A proud former cantonmentian of Savar Cantonment Public School & College, he earned the prestigious Sword of Honour at the Bangladesh Air Force Academy and served the nation with courage, dedication, and patriotism as an officer of the Bangladesh Air Force. He fought for his country until his last breath.

He was also one of the well-wishers of CAWAB during its early days as BCCC.
This talk show was originally arranged by Bangladesh Cantonment College Community (Currently CAWAB) on January 22, 2021, hosted by former Deputy Organizing Secretary Mohammad Senam Ul Tahmid, SCPSC.

Today, we are re-uploading this show in memory of Martyr Squadron Leader Asim Jawwad, remembering his legacy, service, sacrifice, and unwavering dedication to the nation with deep gratitude and respect.

Joint IT Secretary Visits Chief Advisor Ahead of Central Meeting

Joint IT Secretary Wasif Ahmed Chowdhary, HCPSC paid a courtesy visit to Chief Advisor Commodore Md. Khurshid Malik (Retd), ndu, psc, SRCS.
They discussed important CAWAB agendas and upcoming plans. The Chief Advisor provided valuable guidance and helped shape key agendas for the next central meeting.

A central meeting is scheduled to take place tomorrow with all central members. This will be the first official meeting where the Chief Advisor will formally join the session. Several important agendas are expected to be discussed, reflecting the strategic direction advised by the Chief Advisor.

Dr. Mohammad Kamruzzaman, SCPSC officially taken charge as Vice Chairman (Cantonment Public & English Division)

The Cantonmentians’ Alliance & Welfare Association of Bangladesh (CAWAB) is pleased to announce that Dr. Mohammad Kamruzzaman, SCPSC has officially taken charge as the Vice Chairman (Cantonment Public & English Division).

Joint Secretary General Md. Shakawat Hossen, HCPSC paid a courtesy visit to the newly appointed Vice Chairman. During the meeting, they discussed several key issues and initial strategic matters concerning the activities and future direction of CAWAB.

In a separate development, Joint Secretary General Md. Ifrat Hossain Rafat, HCPSC has officially appointed Safwan Ahmed, SRCC as the Principal Staff to the Vice Chairman (Cantonment Public & English Division). This appointment is expected to strengthen coordination and administrative efficiency within the division.

His senior, Siam (HSC-2022), is currently in critical condition and admitted to Cumilla CMH. Please keep him in your prayers.
