The name of the organization is Dr. Edric Baker Human Welfare Association. Dr. Edric Baker Human welfare association was established on 7th January 2017. The name of the organization is Dr. Edric Baker Human Welfare Association."Come forward for serving people from social liability" Followed by this slogan, Dr. Edric Baker Human welfare association was established on 7th January 2017. He started a
health center titled ‘Kailakuri Health Care Center’ in Moduhpur Upazila, Tangail, for giving treatment to the unprivileged people. He came to Bangladesh in 1979 with a view to helping the poor people and he believes in mind that there is no religion above humanity. The Bangladesh government has given citizenship to Mr. Baker on August 5, 2014, for his tremendous contribution to the marginalized people in Bangladesh. The great servant of humanity died on 1st September of 201. Now his health center is giving treatment to the unprivileged people of Tangail, Jamalpur, Mymensingh at a very low cost. We started our program, inspired by the ideals of Dr. Edric Baker. People live in his work, so we do not want his name to be overwhelming. He is our ideal, inspiration, an example of humanity. The significant activities or goals of our organization are:
1. Dr. Edric Baker Human Welfare Association arranges health camps to provide health care services for underprivileged people.
2. Free blood donation for poor, thalassemia patients, and helpless patients, Increase awareness of thalassemia and diagnose thalassemia carriers.
3. To organize awareness camps for physiotherapy treatment services. (At the right time, after taking proper physiotherapy treatment, it can be possible to reduce the number of people with disabilities and become wealthy in the society)
4. Provide employment to the underprivileged and poor people of the society.
5. Encouragement and help for meritorious students' learning.
