CHAMPIONS!
URPDC Triumphs at Inter-Department Debate 2025!

We are immensely proud to announce that the URP Debating Club (URPDC-JU) has secured the Championship (English BP) title at the "18th Inter-Department Debate Competition 2025", organised by JUDO.

The CHAMPION team for the English BP segment consisted of,
1. Moaz Hasan (Batch 26)
2. Sheikh Mortoza Nur (Batch 27)
Also, Nur, URP 27, also secured the "Debater of the Final" in the English BP segment.

Also, special acknowledgement to URPDC-JU's Debate team for the Bangla segment for being QUARTER-FINALIST (Bangla AP Category), consisting of,
1. Md. Rubaiat Hasan (Batch 23)
2. Tania Bahar (Batch 24)
3. Moaz Hasan (Batch 26)
4. M. Wasi (Batch 26)
5. Sheikh Mortoza Nur (Batch 27)

Our debaters showcased exceptional articulation and logic, bringing home prestigious accolades for the Department of Urban and Regional Planning. A heartfelt thank you goes to our respected faculty members, alumni, and students for their constant support.

Again, congratulations to the team for keeping the URP flag flying high in the intellectual arena of Jahangirnagar University!

পহেলা বৈশাখের শুভেচ্ছা সকলকে। URP-JU Planning Festival 24 এর আমেজের সাথে মিল রেখে আমাদের এই সেলিব্রেটরি মিউজিক ভিডিও।
"স্কিটো-তে আমি আমার মতো" গানের লাইনগুলো আমাদের ক্যাম্পাস লাইফের সাথে খুব মিলে। ভালো লাগা এই গানটাকে ফুটিয়ে তুলতে আমাদের করা একটা ছোট প্রয়াস।
তোমরাও চাইলে তোমাদের মতো করে গানটা কভার করে ফেলতে পারো।

Congratulations to URP-JU Debating Club!

We are thrilled to announce that URP-JU Debating Club has earned the Runners-Up title at the Inter-University Planning Debate Competition 2023, organized by Bangladesh Institute of Planners!

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to every participant of the team, our extremely supportive faculty members and all the individuals who contributed to this success. May this achievement inspire future generations of URP-JU to reach even greater heights!

The most awaited event of the Department of Urban and Regional Planning is the Planning Festival '23. This celebration is amplified this year as the department is also stepping into its 25th year.

As a part of this department, URP Debating Club -JU will contribute this time in this celebration by hosting it's signature show debate in form of " রম্য বিতর্ক" where alumni will debate against current students of URP.

The debate will take place at social science faculty at 11:30 a.m. tomorrow 23rd December.

The topic for the debate will be "আমার যৌবনের প্রথম ভুল ইউআরপি-তে পড়া"

Everyone is invited.
