We Are No Longer Alone. Together, Our Voices Are Stronger!

Through the Cross-Movement Coalition Building initiative in Bangladesh, Noboprobhaat Foundation brought together Indigenous movement leaders, journalists, civil society actors, feminist movement leaders, climate advocates, university teachers, political leaders, trans and Hijra rights activists, and frontline youth movement leaders.

Together, we explored how different movements can stand in solidarity with trans and gender-diverse communities, support one another, and build stronger collective action for equality, dignity, and human rights.

Different movements. Shared struggles. One stronger collective voice.

Noboprobhaat Foundation is proud to have made this connection possible.

🌍 World Mental Health Day 2026

“Lived Experiences Heard: Real Voices, Real Change.”

Mental health begins with dignity, acceptance, and inclusion. For gender and sexually diverse communities, discrimination and exclusion can deeply affect mental well-being.

At Noboprobhaat Foundation, we promote the 5Cs of Positive Youth Development: Competence, Confidence, Connection, Character, and Caring to strengthen resilience, belonging, and inclusive communities.

What's thought of our parliament member about DRR, What makes climate policy inclusive?

𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗧𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗶𝘀𝗸 𝗥𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

Sourov Mondol, a Member of the Diversity Youth Parliament ,shared his perspective during the 1st Shadow Youth Parliament 2026 on the importance of youth inclusion and leadership in Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR).

His statement highlighted the need for locally led disaster preparedness, where young people are meaningfully engaged in identifying risks, shaping local responses, and strengthening community resilience before and after disasters.

He also called for more inclusive climate and disaster policies that reflect the realities of all communities—particularly women and gender-diverse communities, who may face additional barriers during emergencies and recovery.

Through the Diversity Youth Parliament, young people are bringing their lived experiences and local perspectives into conversations on climate resilience, disaster preparedness, and inclusive decision-making.

সমান নাগরিকত্ব, অর্থবহ অংশগ্রহণ ও অন্তর্ভুক্তিমূলক নেতৃত্ব

পরিচয় যা-ই হোক, প্রতিটি নাগরিকেরই মর্যাদা ও সম্মানের সঙ্গে রাজনৈতিক ও নাগরিক পরিসরে অংশগ্রহণের সমান অধিকার রয়েছে। কিন্তু হিজড়া জনগোষ্ঠীর অনেক মানুষ এখনো নিজেদের পরিচয়ের কারণে অবহেলা, বৈষম্য এবং অংশগ্রহণের নানা বাধার মুখোমুখি হন।

নবপ্রভাত ফাউন্ডেশন হিজড়া জনগোষ্ঠীর নিজস্ব কণ্ঠস্বর সামনে আনতে এবং এমন রাজনৈতিক ও নাগরিক পরিসর তৈরির কথা বলছে, যেখানে তারা সমান মর্যাদায় অংশগ্রহণ করতে পারবেন, নিজেদের বাস্তবতা ও প্রত্যাশার কথা তুলে ধরতে পারবেন এবং নেতৃত্বে এগিয়ে আসার সুযোগ পাবেন।

আমরা এমন একটি গণতান্ত্রিক পরিবেশ চাই, যেখানে নেতৃত্বে সমাজের বৈচিত্র্যের প্রতিফলন থাকবে এবং পরিচয়ের কারণে কাউকে পিছিয়ে রাখা হবে না।

আজ Noboprobhaat Foundation কোর ইনিশিয়েটিভ Diversity Youth Parliament– 1st Shadow Youth Parliament Session 2026 সফলভাবে আয়োজন করা হয়েছে। এই উদ্যোগের লক্ষ্য হলো তরুণদের জন্য এমন একটি অংশগ্রহণমূলক প্ল্যাটফর্ম তৈরি করা, যেখানে তারা নিজেদের অভিজ্ঞতা, সমস্যা, প্রস্তাব ও নীতিগত সুপারিশ সরাসরি উপস্থাপন করতে পারে।

রংপুর বিভাগের বিভিন্ন এলাকা থেকে আগত আদিবাসী, যুব নারী, লিঙ্গ বৈচিত্র্যময় জনগোষ্ঠী এবং অন্যান্য প্রান্তিক ও কম প্রতিনিধিত্বশীল তরুণদের মধ্য থেকে ১৪ জন Youth Member of Parliament সংসদীয় অধিবেশনে বক্তব্য রাখেন। তারা স্থানীয় শাসন, শিক্ষা ও দক্ষতা উন্নয়ন, কর্মসংস্থান, সামাজিক অন্তর্ভুক্তি, সরকারি সেবায় প্রবেশাধিকার, দুর্যোগ প্রস্তুতি, জলবায়ু পরিবর্তন এবং youth-friendly public space-সহ বিভিন্ন গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বিষয় House-এর সামনে তুলে ধরেন।

একই সঙ্গে বাংলাদেশের বিদ্যমান সরকারি কাঠামোর আলোকে ৬টি মন্ত্রণালয়ের অধীনে দায়িত্বপ্রাপ্ত ৬ জন Youth Minister সংশ্লিষ্ট বিষয়গুলোর ওপর বক্তব্য দেন, Youth MPs-দের উত্থাপিত প্রশ্ন ও সুপারিশের জবাব দেন এবং সম্ভাব্য করণীয় ও নীতিগত দিক তুলে ধরেন। এভাবে পুরো অধিবেশনটি শুধু বক্তব্যের মধ্যে সীমাবদ্ধ না থেকে একটি structured parliamentary dialogue-এ রূপ নেয়।

পরবর্তীতে parliamentary debate, amendment এবং voting-এর মাধ্যমে House-এর সম্মিলিত সুপারিশগুলো Diversity Youth Parliament Resolution 2026 হিসেবে গৃহীত হয় এবং তা উপস্থিত সরকারি কর্মকর্তাদের হাতে আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে তুলে দেওয়া হয়।

Diversity Youth Parliament-এর মাধ্যমে নবপ্রভাত ফাউন্ডেশন গ্রামীণ, প্রান্তিক ও কম প্রতিনিধিত্বশীল তরুণদের নেতৃত্ব, অধিকার, মর্যাদা এবং অর্থবহ নাগরিক অংশগ্রহণ শক্তিশালী করতে কাজ করছে। আমাদের লক্ষ্য হলো—তরুণদের শুধু কোনো কর্মসূচির অংশগ্রহণকারী হিসেবে নয়, বরং সিদ্ধান্ত গ্রহণ, নীতি আলোচনা এবং স্থানীয় উন্নয়ন প্রক্রিয়ার সক্রিয় অংশীদার হিসেবে প্রতিষ্ঠিত করা।

একটি অন্তর্ভুক্তিমূলক গণতন্ত্র তখনই শক্তিশালী হয়, যখন তরুণদের কণ্ঠ শুধু শোনা হয় না—সেই কণ্ঠ সিদ্ধান্তেও প্রতিফলিত হয়।

Noboprobhaat Foundation is bringing together the Parliament Members of the Diversity Youth Parliament for the 1st Shadow Youth Parliament Session 2026 at Rangpur Division. And the preparation is ongoing.

Together, the members are preparing to raise youth voices, exchange ideas, and represent the priorities of young people to ensure the civic partcipation and democracy practice among diverse background of youth.
