Bringing Northern Frontline Realities to the National Agenda!

Today, the Rupantor Youth Organization team joined as a partner in the National Workshop on Country Youth Position for COP31, organized at the Department of Environment in Dhaka.

We made sure Northern Bangladesh was front and center in the national discourse. Our representatives voiced the region's most pressing climate realities:

★Relentless riverbank erosion sweeping away schools, homes, and lands along vulnerable river basin

★Extreme drought cycles threatening rural agriculture and local livelihoods

★The silent crisis of forced climate migration and its impact on children and frontline youth

Our message was simple: high-level climate policies must translate into real protection and resources for the vulnerable communities living on the edge

Grateful to the organizers, partner alliances, and fellow youth leaders for ensuring frontline voices shape Bangladesh's road to COP31! 💚🇧🇩

What started as Mohiruh—a regional initiative rooted in Northern Bangladesh—has now grown into a nationwide mission. With Mohiruh, we are not just organizing another event; we are working to create a real, tangible difference—from empowering frontline grassroots communities to advocating for actionable climate literacy in national policies. That is the true essence and driving force of Mohiruh.

★ Engaging Children and Youth in Climate Education

★Encouraging Students to Solve Local Community Problems

★Encouraging Local Administration and Stakeholders to Act on Climate Change
