অত্যন্ত আনন্দের সাথে Supporting People and Rebuilding Communities - SPaRC টীম আপনাদের জানাচ্ছে যে, আমরা দক্ষিণ এশিয়া ও পুরো পৃথিবী জুড়ে Kamla Bhasin - এর অসামান্য অবদানের প্রতি শ্রদ্ধা জানিয়ে "কমলা ভাসিন ফেলোশিপ- বাংলাদেশ (Kamla Bhasin Fellowship- Bangladesh) এর জন্য আবারো আবেদন নিচ্ছি। অর্ধশতকের বেশী সময় ধরে, কমলা ভাসিন নিরলসভাবে নারী নির্যাতন, নারীর প্রতি বৈষম্য, শ্রেণী বৈষম্য ও পুরুষতান্ত্রিক ধ্যান ধারনার বিপক্ষে এবং সমতা, ন্যায়পরায়ন পৃথিবী প্রতিষ্ঠার লক্ষ্যে কাজ করেছেন।

কমলা ভাসিন ফেলোশিপ- বাংলাদেশের যাত্রা শুরু ২০১৭ সালে। কমলা ভাসিন ফেলোশিপ বাংলাদেশ প্রবর্তিত হয় তাঁর কাজের প্রতি অবদানের জন্য শ্রদ্ধা জানিয়ে প্রথমবারের মত SPaRC পার্বত্য চট্টগ্রাম থেকে। প্রতি দুই বছর অন্তর এ ফেলোশিপ প্রদান করা হয়। ২০১৭ থেকে ২০২৫ পর্যন্ত এ ফেলোশিপ পেয়েছেন ৮ জন, যারা ইতিমধ্যেই তাঁদের নিজ নিজ ক্ষেত্রে তাঁদের দক্ষতার প্রমাণ দেশে ও বিদেশে রেখেছেন।

বাংলাদেশের যে কোন অধ্যয়নরত আদিবাসী/ পাহাড়ী এবং বাঙ্গালী, এই ফেলোশিপের জন্যে আবেদন করতে পারবেন। তবে উল্লেখ্য যে, শুধুমাত্র আপনার শিক্ষাক্ষেত্রে প্রাপ্ত ভালো ফলাফলই এই সম্মাজনক ফেলোশিপের জন্যে মনোনীত হওয়ার ক্ষেত্রে নির্নায়ক হবে না। এই ফেলোশিপের মাধ্যমে আমরা সম্মানিত করতে চাই, সে সকল আদিবাসী/ পাহাড়ী এবং বাঙ্গালী নারীদের যারা নিজেদের ও/অথবা অন্য নারীর জীবনে ঘটে যাওয়া নারী নির্যাতন, নারীর প্রতি বৈষম্য ও পুরুষতান্ত্রিক ধ্যান ধারনার বিপক্ষে আওয়াজ তুলেছেন। এই আওয়াজ তোলার গল্প হতে পারে পরিবারে, সমাজে ও কমিউনিটিতে, হতে পারে আপনার লেখনীর মাধ্যমে অথবা সশরীরে, সচেতনভাবে করে যাওয়া যে কোন প্রকার কাজের মাধ্যমে।

এক বাক্যে বলতে গেলেঃ নারী নির্যাতন, নারীর প্রতি বৈষম্য ও পুরুষতান্ত্রিক ধ্যান ধারনার বিপক্ষে বাংলাদেশে বসবাসরত সে সকল আদিবাসী/ পাহাড়ী এবং বাঙ্গালী ব্যাক্তিরা আওয়াজ তুলেছেন, তাঁদের আমরা এই সম্মানজনক "কমলা ভাসিন ফেলোশিপ" এর জন্যে মনোনীত করবো।

SPaRC- এর স্লোগান - সাহস ছোঁয়াচে ( Courage Is Contagious)। নির্বাচিত ফেলোদের আর্থিক সহায়তার সাথে সাথে তাঁদের আমাদের সাথে কাজ করার সুযোগও প্রদান করা হবে।

ফেলোশিপে আবেদন করার যোগ্যতা নিম্নরূপঃ
১। আপনাকে অবশ্যই বাংলাদেশের নাগরিক হতে হবে।
২। আপনাকে অবশ্যই কোন না কোন শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানে অধ্যয়নরত হতে হবে (প্রাতিষ্ঠানিক বা কারিগরি)।
৩।আপনাকে অবশ্যই আদিবাসী, নারী ও সমাজে অন্যান্য প্রান্তিক অবস্থানে থাকা মানুষের অস্তিত্ব, অধিকার ও জীবনাচরণের প্রতি শ্রদ্ধাশীল হয়তে হবে।
৪। আপনাকে অবশ্যই কমলা ভাসিন ফেলোশিপ ২০২৬: আবেদন ফর্মটি পুরন করতে হবে।
৫। যদি প্রয়োজন হয়, তাহলে SPaRC এর অনুরোধমাফিক আপনাকে অবশ্যই প্রয়োজনীয় আনুসাঙ্গিক কাগজপত্রাদি SPaRC অফিসে পাঠাতে হবে।

প্রাথমিক বাছাইয়ে টিকে যাওয়ার পর করনীয়ঃ
১। নিয়মিত ইমেইল চেক করা।
২। আপনার ফোন নং এ SPaRC থেকে বার্তা বা ফোনকল পেলে, যত দ্রুত সম্ভব যোগাযোগ করা।

যখন দুনিয়াব্যাপী উত্থান হচ্ছে পরিচয়ভিত্তিক ফ্যাসিবাদের;

যখন ঔপনিবেশিক বর্ণবাদী পুঁজিবাদ, যুদ্ধ-গণহত্যা, কলোনিয়াল জেন্ডার রেজিম, জলবায়ু সংকট আমাদেরকে ঘিরে ধরছে, তখন একসাথে বসে এসবের বাইরে যত্ন, মমতা, ন্যায়-ইনসাফ ও বন্ধুত্বের ভিত্তিতে নতুন দুনিয়ার কল্পনা করাকে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ রাজনৈতিক ও ঐতিহাসিক করণ বলে মনে করে লোকায়ত-নিরিখ এবং অংশীদারেরা।

Revisiting our work on Social Harmony back in 2018 . It is way more important than ever as the right wing try to divide us . Lets show them coexistence is possble . We can respect each other with the Identities we hold. Supporting People and Rebuilding Communities - SPaRC and Boundaries did it in 2018- and the love , warmth we have seen - was spectacular !

"Two organisations, Leaping Boundaries and Supporting People and Rebuilding Communities (SPaRC), were interested in arranging an exchange programme between madrasah and indigenous girls for sometime. Leaping Boundaries, an organisation that has been working with madrasah girls since 2012, strives to establish its presence and increase its visibility in mainstream platforms. SPaRC, operating since 2013, is a feminist organisation whose mission is ensuring women and girls' social and political rights without prejudice of their s*x, caste, religion, ethnicity or s*xual orientation. Founders of both organisations had been keen on introducing members of these communities. After receiving planning and support from the Swedish Institute, this project, named Girls for Peace, became a reality."

Supporting People and Rebuilding Communities- SPaRC has observed International Day of Rural Women 2025 গ্রামীণ নারী দিবস - ২০২৫ in collaboration with Badabon Sangho-বাদাবন সংঘ CREA and AFD in Chittagong Hill Tracts, Bangladesh.

এবারের প্রতিপাদ্য ছিলো “ খাস জমিতে নারীর অধিকার নিশ্চিত করি,
টেকসই কৃষি ও ন্যায়ভিত্তিক উন্নয়ন গড়ি”

স্থান: বালুখালী, রাঙামাটি সদর উপজেলা।
তারিখ: ১৫.১০.২০২৫

স্পার্ক গত ১৫ ই অক্টোবর ‘গ্রামীণ নারী দিবস’ উদযাপন করে বালুখালী, রাঙামাটি সদর উপজেলায়.

পাহাড়ে অক্টোবর - নভেম্বর চীবর দানের হিড়িক পড়ে মাসব্যাপী।তারই ধারাতে চীবর দান অনুষ্ঠান আয়োজনের জন্য দুই গ্রামবাসী মিলে গত ১৫ ই অক্টোবর মিলিত হয় সাথে গ্রামীণ নারী দিবস উদযাপনে সহযোগিতা করেন। বৈঠকে নারী-পুরুষ,বয়োজ্যেষ্ঠদেরও উপস্থিতি দেখা যায়।

শুরুতেই স্পার্কের পূর্ণা চাকমা দিবসটির প্রেক্ষাপট তুলে ধরেন। আমাদের মা-বোনরা অনেক আদিবাসী জ্ঞান সঞ্চিত রাখেন যার ফলে নিরলসভাবে ক্ষেত-খামারেও রান্নার পাশাপাশি আবাদ করেন অনেক ফসলের। এতে করে সংসারে যেমন স্বস্তি মেলে। কোথাও কোথাও দেখা যায় পরিবারের চাহিদা মেটানোর পাশাপাশি হাট-বাজারেও বিক্রি করেন। যার ফলে মা-বোন'দের অর্থনৈতিক ভিত একটু হলেও মজবুত হয়।
তবে শুধু নারী সংসারের হাল ধরেন বললেও ভুল হবে তুলনামূলক পুরুষের সাথে সমান তালে নারী অবদান রাখছে।

বন্ধুর পথ পাড়ি দিয়ে সংসার করা হয়। ঠিক তেমনি নারী-পুরুষ ও সন্তানদের সঠিক বোঝাপড়া অথবা পরিবারে যদি একটি নির্দিষ্ট নিয়ম মেনে ভালো জীবন গঠনে সজাগ থাকে তাহলে অবশ্যই সুন্দর জীবন, সমাজ ও পরিবেশে পরিবর্তন আসবে - তিনি উপস্থিত বৈঠকে বলেন।

নারীদের মধ্যে থেকে অভিজ্ঞতা বিনিময়ে আরো বলা হয় যে,
“ নারী কিন্ত সব পারি” যদি পুরুষের সহযোগিতা পাই তাহলে আমরাও এগিয়ে যেতে পারবো। উনারা কোনোদিন জানতেন না যে, ‘ গ্রামীণ নারী দিবস বলে একটি দিবস আছে যেটি ১৯৯৫ সালের বেইজিংয়ের চতুর্থ নারী সম্মেলনে প্রস্তাব দিয়ে রেজ্যুলেশন পাস হয়। নারীকে মা-মাটি হিসেবে শ্রদ্ধার ব্যাপারটিও জানা ছিলো না বলে স্পার্ককে ধন্যবাদ জ্ঞাপন করেন কারণ স্পার্কের প্রতিনিধি এগুলো নিয়ে ছোট পরিসরে ধারণা দেন।

আদিবাসী সমাজে নারীকে সম্পত্তি বন্টনের ক্ষেত্রে যে বৈষম্য তাও উপস্থিত স্পার্কের প্রতিনিধি বিষয়টি বুঝিয়ে দেন। যেনো প্রতিপাদ্যের মত আমাদের সমাজও এগিয়ে যেতে পারে সেটি অনুরোধ করেন কারণ পারস্পরিক মেলবন্ধনের মধ্যে দিয়ে পরিবর্তন আবশ্যক।

উপস্থিত পুরুষেরা বলেন , “ নারী শুধু পরিবার বা ক্ষেত-খামার অথবা গৃহস্থালি কাজে জীবন আটকে না রেখে রাজনৈতিকভাবে যদি আরো সচেতন হন তাহলে জাতি আরো নব উদ্যমে এগিয়ে যাবে বলে বিশ্বাস করেন। পরিবারে শুধু নারী সন্তান বলে অনেক বাবা-মা মন খারাপ করতেন কিন্তু আগের মতো অবস্থা এখন তেমন পরিলক্ষিত হয়না। নারী পড়ালেখার পাশাপাশি আয়-রোজগারের কথা চিন্তা করে অনেকেই অনলাইনে উদ্যােক্তা হচ্ছে কেউ দোকান দিচ্ছে যার ফলে পরিবারে স্বচ্ছলতা তো আছেই সাথে তথ্যসমৃদ্ধ জ্ঞান আর প্রযুক্তি কাজে লাগিয়ে নারীরা নতুন সেক্টরে পুরুষের সাথে পাল্লা দিয়ে শক্ত অবস্থান করছে বলে জানান। "

বৈঠকে আরো নারীদের দিনমজুরিতে যে বৈষম্য পরিলক্ষিত হয় সেটিও উত্থাপিত হয়।বৈঠকে মোট ৫১ জনের উপস্থিতি ছিল। এছাড়াও স্পার্কের স্বেচ্ছাসেবক হিসেবে টুনি চাকমা,ঊর্মি চাকমা ও অনন্যা চাকমা উপস্থিত ছিলেন।

Dialogue on Responsible Traveling in

On 8 October 2025, we came together for a dialogue on Responsible Travelling in the Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT), bringing together 12 Indigenous content creators, storytellers, and community voices who shape how the hills are seen and spoken about.

Through our collective research, we have seen how unregulated tourism in the hills often intersects with displacement, cultural commodification, gender-based violence, s*xual harassment, and ecological degradation, disproportionately affecting Indigenous women and children. These impacts reveal how the so-called 'development' narrative around tourism can deepen existing inequalities rather than empower local communities.

This dialogue sought to bring those findings to the people who influence public narratives - the content creators - to reflect on how storytelling and travelling can become more ethical, caring, and grounded in Indigenous rights.

In a day of open adda, learning, and reflection, we discussed how to move beyond romanticised images of the hills and instead tell stories rooted in consent, respect, and responsibility. Together, we shaped a shared framework for content that uplifts communities rather than objectifying them. Gratitude to everyone who joined, listened, and contributed with care and solidarity.

The dialogue was part of an ongoing research initiative under the Women Gaining Ground project by -unlearn Gender, focusing on the complex impacts of tourism on Indigenous communities in the CHT. The project is a joint effort of People and Rebuilding Communities -SPaRC, Young Women Leaders for Peace - Bangladesh, Pathchola Foundation and Affasa.
