The theme for World Environment Day 2026 is "Climate Action".

Environment plays a critical role in shaping our health. As climate change, pollution, and environmental degradation continue to threaten communities worldwide, the burden on human health grows heavier. Protecting nature is not just an environmental responsibility, it is a public health priority.

Let us remember that caring for the planet means caring for ourselves and the generations to come.

World No To***co Day is observed around the world to inform the public on the dangers of using to***co, the business practices of to***co companies, what the World Health Organization (WHO) is doing to fight against the use of to***co, and what people around the world can do to claim their right to health and healthy living, as well as to protect future generations.

The theme for World No To***co Day 2026 is:

"Unmasking the appeal - countering ni****ne and to***co addiction".

The theme focuses on exposing how the to***co and ni****ne industries repackage and market highly addictive products, such as e-cigarettes, synthetic ni****ne, and flavored pouches—to target youth and sustain cycles of addiction.

Let us join hands to take prompt action so that to***co addiction can be minimized as much as possible within our society and the country.

Pre-eclampsia is a silent threat that can affect any pregnancy, often without obvious warning signs.

High blood pressure, swelling of face or hands, severe headache, blurred vision, and reduced fetal movement can be dangerous signs that can threaten the life of the mother & the child.

That's why, this year the theme is

"Know Her Symptoms".

Each year, nearly 76,000 mothers and 500,000 babies are lost to this preventable condition.

Early detection through regular antenatal checkups is key.

Let’s empower families, train healthcare providers, and strengthen access to care.

সন্ধানী রাঙ্গামাটি মেডিকেল কলেজ ইউনিট এর উদ্যোগে রাঙ্গামাটি শহরের কে কে রায় সড়ক এলাকায় অবস্থিত রানি দয়াময়ী সরকারি প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয়ে ব্লাড গ্রুপিং ও মোটিভেশনাল প্রোগ্রামের আয়োজন করা হয়। এ সময় বিদ্যালয়ের মোট ১২০ জন শিক্ষার্থীর ব্লাড গ্রুপ নির্ণয় করে দেওয়া হয়। উক্ত কর্মসূচিতে তাদের উপস্থিতি ও উৎসাহ ছিল চোখে পড়ার মতো।

এছাড়াও একই কর্মসূচির অংশ হিসেবে বিদ্যালয়ের সম্মানিত শিক্ষকবৃন্দ এবং অভিভাবকমণ্ডলীরও ব্লাড প্রেশার পরিমাপ করা হয়।

সবশেষে ফটোসেশনের মধ্য দিয়ে দিনব্যাপী এই কর্মসূচির সফল সমাপ্তি ঘটে।

একাদশ প্রজন্ম - আবরার, মঈন, অয়ন, উথিং, আহলান, উর্ষি, ইলমা, এহসান, নেওয়াজ, রবিউল, মিরাজ, প্রজ্ঞা, ভূমিকা, ওয়াকিয়া।
