আমরা আনন্দের সঙ্গে জানাচ্ছি যে প্রাগ্রসর (বাংলাদেশ) ও স্বয়ম (ভারত) যৌথভাবে আয়োজন করতে যাচ্ছে ১৬তম বাংলাদেশ–ভারত প্রশিক্ষণ কোর্স, যার বিষয়: জেন্ডার উন্নয়ন, মানবাধিকার ও শান্তি।
এই প্রশিক্ষণ পরিচালনা করবেন বাংলাদেশ ও ভারতের জেন্ডার বিশেষজ্ঞ, উন্নয়ন কর্মী ও নারী অধিকারকর্মী।

এই মনোনয়নের ক্ষেত্রে বিবেচ্য বিষয়ঃ

১. শিক্ষাগত যোগ্যতা: স্নাতকোত্তর
২. অভিজ্ঞতা: ন্যূনতম তিন বছর
৩. জেন্ডার ও নারীবাদ বিষয়ে কাজ করতে আগ্রহী
৪. সাংগাত, প্রাগ্রসর, নিজেরা করিসহ অন্যান্য সংগঠনে নারী আন্দোলন ভিত্তিক বিভিন্ন কার্যক্রমে সক্রিয় অংশগ্রহণে আগ্রহী

🌿 Tongsa Bazar বাজারের পক্ষ থেকে একটি ছোট উদ্যোগ 🌿

ঢাকায় যারা স্টুডেন্ট অবস্থায় আর্থিক সমস্যায় আছেন, বা কোনো কারণে বাজার করতে পারছেন না, তারা নির্দ্বিধায় Tongsa Bazar বাজার থেকে বিনামূল্যে সবজি নিতে পারেন।

আমি চেষ্টা করব যেন প্রত্যেকে কিছুটা সাহায্য পান।
তবে সব সময় একদম তাজা সবজি দিতে পারব না — কারণ দোকানের ব্যবসা, স্টাফ, ট্রান্সপোর্ট ও অন্যান্য খরচ রেখে আমাকে সীমিত লাভের মধ্যে চলতে হয়।

তাই আমি সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছি, বাজারের পরের দিন যেসব সবজি অবিক্রিত থেকে যায় (যেগুলো খাবার যোগ্য, কিন্তু একদম নতুন নয়), সেগুলো আমি একটি “স্টুডেন্ট বক্স”-এ রেখে দেব — যেখানে যাদের প্রয়োজন, তারা নিয়ে যেতে পারবেন।

🙏 দয়া করে কেউ বিষয়টি খারাপভাবে নেবেন না, কারণ আমি নিজেও একসময় স্টুডেন্ট ছিলাম, এখনো আছি — তাই আমি জানি একজন স্টুডেন্টের অবস্থা কেমন হয়।

Our members Tony Tripura and Ananto Tripura along with Oyaje Rizon and Mymuna Binte Saiful, successfully participated in Policy Hackathon 2025, themed “Education in Transition Time.” Among many national teams, they achieved the 1st Runner-Up position and won the Best Innovative Idea Award for their proposed project on Mother-Tongue-Based Education in the Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT).

Their proposed solution focused on ensuring inclusive and equitable learning for indigenous children. This recognition celebrates our vision of bridging linguistic gaps and empowering communities through education.

Heartiest congratulations to this amazing team - Aamuni Kau (Mother Tongue).

Water is Life. And protecting water is protecting life itself. Indigenous Peoples worship water and its sources as they share a spiritual connection. Unfortunately, natural water sources are dying due to climate change and manmade destruction such as deforestation, unplanned development, stone extraction, mismanagement of natural resources etc. However, indigenous young change makers are spreading awareness about climate change & its impacts, and weaving solutions for a better future for all. On 28 March, 2025, team Back to the Roots by HRC & partners visited Simana Para of Khagrachari Hill District and conducted an awareness raising community workshop followed by a boot camp for youths.
