আজ আন্তর্জাতিক ওজোন স্তর সুরক্ষা দিবস। এবারের প্রতিপাদ্য: “ওজোন স্তর সংরক্ষণ, জলবায়ু পরিবর্তন রক্ষা” 🌱
ওজোন স্তর আমাদের পৃথিবীকে ক্ষতিকর রশ্মি থেকে রক্ষা করে। তাই এর সুরক্ষা আমাদের টিকে থাকার জন্য অত্যন্ত জরুরি।

আমরা বাংলাদেশ সরকার 🇧🇩 ও প্রাইভেট সেক্টর, যেমন WALTON এর সাথে পরিবেশবান্ধব প্রযুক্তি ও নবায়নযোগ্য জ্বালানি প্রচারে কাজ করছে, যা ওজোন স্তর রক্ষা ও জলবায়ু পরিবর্তন মোকাবিলায় সহায়তা করছে।
আসুন, সবাই মিলে ওজোন রক্ষায় প্রতিশ্রুতিবদ্ধ হই। 💙

আজ আন্তর্জাতিক সাক্ষরতা দিবস 📚
পার্বত্য চট্টগ্রামের আনিতা চাকমার মতো আমাদের কমিউনিটি ভলান্টিয়াররা শুধু জলবায়ু পরিবর্তনের মোকাবিলাই করছেন না, জ্ঞান ছড়িয়ে মানুষকে সচেতন করছেন, দিচ্ছেন টেকসই ভবিষ্যতের নেতৃত্ব।

বাংলাদেশ জলবায়ু ঝুঁকিতে সবচেয়ে ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত দেশগুলোর একটি। প্রান্তিক মানুষের জীবন-জীবিকায় জলবায়ু পরিবর্তন মারাত্মক প্রভাব ফেলছে।
এই বাস্তবতায় তরুণরা এগিয়ে এসেছে। বাংলাদেশ সরকার 🇧🇩, UN Capital Development Fund, Embassy of Sweden in Dhaka 🇸🇪 ও Embassy of Denmark in Bangladesh 🇩🇰-এর যৌথ উদ্যোগে বাস্তবায়িত আমাদের প্রকল্প, বাংলাদেশের ৯ জেলায় ৩০,০০০ শিক্ষার্থীকে যুক্ত করেছে, যারা সচেতনতা, ঝুঁকি মোকাবিলা নেতৃত্ব দিচ্ছে।

Youth Voice Mechanism (YVM) is a national initiative led by Ministry of Youth and Sports and United Nations in Bangladesh to co-create a youth-led platform for inclusive governance. YVM is being co-designed with the youth, for the youth - especially those from marginalized, indigenous, rural, and underrepresented communities. Join us in the YVM Divisional Workshops where we are creating space for honest dialogue, policy input and shared solutions.

কল্পনা থেকে বাস্তবে রূপান্তর। এবারের যুব দিবস -এ আমরা তুলে ধরছি তরুণ নেতৃত্বাধীন উদ্যোগগুলো, যা -কে বাস্তবে রূপ দিচ্ছে।

তারই ধারাবাহিকতায় আজ পরিচয় করিয়ে দিচ্ছি চট্টগ্রামের ফয়েজ উদ্দিন কে, যিনি তরুণ নেতা হিসেবে জলবায়ু ন্যায্যতা, কমিউনিটি সহনশীলতা ও নীতি পরিবর্তনের জন্য কাজ করছেন আর এভাবেই এগিয়ে নিচ্ছেন টেকসই লক্ষ্যমাত্রা ১৩: জলবায়ু কার্যক্রম।

কল্পনা থেকে বাস্তবে রূপান্তর। এবারের যুব দিবস -এ আমরা তুলে ধরছি তরুণ নেতৃত্বাধীন উদ্যোগগুলো, যা -কে বাস্তবে রূপ দিচ্ছে।

তারই ধারাবাহিকতায় আজ পরিচয় করিয়ে দিচ্ছি রাঙামাটির দুর্গম সাপচরির সবিন চাকমা ও তার সহযাত্রী তরুণদের, যারা সৌরশক্তিনির্ভর পরিশোধন ব্যবস্থা গড়ে তুলে দূরবর্তী পাহাড়ি গ্রামে নিশ্চিত করেছেন নিরাপদ পানি, এগিয়ে নিচ্ছেন এসডিজি ৬: বিশুদ্ধ পানি ও স্যানিটেশন 💧

Today is the International Day of the World’s Indigenous People. These communities are the keepers of ancient wisdom, carrying stories, languages and traditions that hold the memory of humanity itself. They have protected the earth with care that modern societies still struggle to match.

Yet, many face the slow erasure of their lands, rights and identity.Defending them means defending the roots of our humanity. UNYSAB stands in solidarity with indigenous peoples, committed to preserving their heritage and protecting their rights. We believe their voices must remain strong, their stories told, and their knowledge passed on to future generations.

This coming International Youth Day, join us on 12 August for a virtual knowledge-sharing event on the State of the Ecosystem for Youth Entrepreneurship Studies by IsDB and UNDP.

The session will explore targeted solutions to youth unemployment, enhance access to skills development, and identify opportunities for collaboration to strengthen entrepreneurial ecosystems. It will also explore how youth entrepreneurship drives jobs, innovation, and SDG progress, and share key findings that led to the creation of the Youth Digitalization for Employability and Entrepreneurship Program (Y-DEEP).
