Dhaka University Research Society - DURS and Barishal University Research Society (BURS) served as the Club Partners of the EMCRS Inauguration Ceremony 2026. The president of DURS highlighted the ongoing activities of DURS and its upcoming flagship event, the DURS 2nd International Student Research Conference (ISRC) 2026, which is scheduled to be held on 28 December 2026 as part of the 10th anniversary celebrations of the Dhaka University Research Society (DURS).
The initiative to establish a research club at Eden Mohila College was first undertaken by the Bangladesh Research Society (BDRS) in late 2022 under the mentorship and guidance of S M Sadeq, Founder of both DURS and BDRS. After years of dedicated efforts, mentoring, and collaboration, the initiative has now taken institutional shape with the establishment of the Eden Mohila College Research Society (EMCRS)!
The society plans to organize research training, academic programs, collaborative research, seminars, workshops, and other knowledge-based activities in collaboration with BDRS and DURS.
The launch of EMCRS is being seen not merely as the establishment of a new student organization, but as the beginning of a new chapter in research and knowledge practice at Eden Mohila College, creating greater opportunities for students to develop as future researchers and innovators.
