Happy Birthday, Aurchan Hasan !
On behalf of the entire IEEE RUET Student Branch, we wish you a very happy birthday!
If you've ever seen a poster for one of our conferences, scrolled past our event posts online, or walked through the branding at one of our offline programs, you've seen Aurchan's touch. He has a way of giving our events a look and feel that instantly shows the uniqueness of IEEE RUET Student Branch. It's hard to imagine our Student Branch without his designs.
But what really stands out isn't just the work itself; it's how he shows up. Always ready to help, always patient with the design team, always pushing for that little extra detail that makes a difference. For a lot of our designers, he's not just a senior contributor; he's someone they genuinely look up to.
So today, we just want to take a moment to say thank you and to celebrate you, Aurchan, for your talent, your dedication, and the quiet consistency you bring to everything you design.
Wishing you a birthday as wonderful as the work you create, and a year ahead full of good health, happiness, and new inspiration.

IEEE RUET Student Branch is delighted to wish a very happy birthday to Adib Hassan, Chair of IEEE RUET Student Branch.
Known for remarkable dedication and unwavering commitment, Adib Hassan has been a driving force behind the growth and success of IEEE RUET Student Branch. Through thoughtful leadership and sincere efforts, he has contributed immensely to building a more vibrant IEEE community at RUET.

As graduation approaches, IEEE RUET Student Branch also prepares to bid farewell to the Chair whose leadership has left a lasting mark. While this chapter comes to an end, the impact of his guidance and countless contributions will continue to be remembered for years to come.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 & 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐜 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 (𝐄𝐄𝐄), RUET, in collaboration with the IEEE RUET Student Branch, successfully hosted an insightful seminar on "𝐄𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐰𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐄𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲" on 𝟏𝟐 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 at the EEE Building, RUET.
The session featured 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐫. 𝐒𝐡𝐮𝐯𝐨 𝐊𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐚, Senior Journalist and Political Analyst, as the keynote speaker. He delivered an engaging address on the global shift toward sustainable energy, highlighting the technical, policy and economic dimensions of adopting renewable resources in today's changing world.
The occasion was further honored by the presence of respected faculty members. Dr. Md. Masud Rana (Professor & Head, Dept. of EEE), Prof. Dr. Md. Anwar Hossain (Professor & Head, Dept. of ECE), along with Dr. Md. Faruk Hossain, Dr. Md. Selim Hossain, and Dr. G.K.M. Hasanuzzaman from the Department of EEE graced the session. They were joined by Sushanto Bosak (Assistant Professor, Dept. of EEE) as well as Zahid Hossain and Mst. Nisat Tasnim Sadhona (Lecturers, Dept. of EEE), whose presence and support greatly enriched the gathering.
During the interactive session, attendees explored real-world challenges and future opportunities in cleaner power generation. The event concluded with thoughtful discussions between the guest speaker, faculty, and participating students, leaving everyone inspired to contribute to a sustainable future.

𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐲𝐧𝐚𝐩𝐬𝐞 𝟏.𝟎

𝐒𝐲𝐧𝐚𝐩𝐬𝐞 𝟏.𝟎, held on June 26, 2026 at the EEE Seminar Room, was a technical event organized by 𝐈𝐄𝐄𝐄 𝐑𝐔𝐄𝐓 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐡 to bring together students with a shared interest in mathematics, electronics, and creative design. The event featured three distinct competitions that are 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐁𝐞𝐞, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐢𝐫𝐜𝐮𝐢𝐭 𝐎𝐥𝐲𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐚𝐝, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚 𝐂𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 and drew the participation of around 100 students from various departments across 𝐑𝐚𝐣𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐡𝐢 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 & 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 (𝐑𝐔𝐄𝐓). The aim was simple but meaningful: to sharpen students' problem-solving abilities, deepen their practical understanding of circuit analysis and design, give space for creative and visual expression.

The day kicked off at 𝟏𝟏:𝟎𝟎 𝐀𝐌 with the preliminary round of the Integration Bee, where participants raced against time to solve integration problems with speed and precision. The strongest performers from this round earned their spot in the final, which was held later at 𝟑:𝟎𝟎 𝐏𝐌. Right around the same time, energy shifted to the Circuit Olympiad at 𝟒:𝟎𝟎 𝐏𝐌, where students put their technical and analytical skills to the test through circuit analysis and design challenges. Meanwhile, the Cover Design Competition ran online, giving participants the flexibility to showcase their creativity from outside the seminar room. By 𝟔:𝟎𝟎 𝐏𝐌, results for all three competitions had been finalized.

The competitions saw some outstanding performances from students.

1. Integration Bee

🥉 3rd Place: Anna Moni Ojanta (EEE, 2501146)

2. Circuit Olympiad
🥇 1st Place: Abdul Gaffar Ali Parvej (EEE, 2501138)
🥈 2nd Place: Joy Bepary (EEE, 2501156)
🥉 3rd Place: Abit Khan (EEE, 2501177)

3. Cover Design Competition
🥇 1st Place: Most. Irin Jahan (EEE, 2501097)
🥈 2nd Place: Arik Abrar (EEE, 2501094)
🥉 3rd Place: Ragib Hasan (EEE, 2501089)

The event closed on a high note with the prize-giving ceremony at 6:30 PM, where the winners of all three competitions were honored. The ceremony was made even more special by the presence of faculty members from RUET and neighboring universities, who attended as guests and offered their encouragement and support to the participants.

Overall, 𝐒𝐲𝐧𝐚𝐩𝐬𝐞 𝟏.𝟎 was a huge success. It offered a great mix of analytical, technical, and creative challenges that really engaged students from various departments. The high turnout and support from faculty members highlighted the event's impact. Ultimately, it did a fantastic job of bringing students together, sparking academic curiosity, and setting a great foundation for future events.
