রোকন ভাই (বুয়েট'১৭)-কে জবাই করে হত্যার হুমকি দেওয়ার প্রতিবাদে ঘটনায় জড়িত ডিপ্লোমা সন্ত্রাসীদেরকে ১২ ঘন্টার মধ্যে গ্রেফতারের আল্টিমেটাম দেওয়া হলো।

এতগুলো ত্যাগ আর সংগ্রামের বিনিময়ে যেই লেজুড়ভিত্তিক রাজনীতি রুয়েটে বন্ধ হয়েছে, আমরা ১৭ সংক্রান্তি (RUET '17 Series) কখনোই চাই না সেটি রুয়েটে আবার ফিরে আসুক।
রুয়েট প্রাঙ্গন হোক শিক্ষার, গবেষনার ও প্রাণোচ্ছল।
আর আমরা আহবান করবো আমাদের অনুজদের, এই বিষয়ে তোমাদের অবস্থান যেন অটল থাকে।

আমরা ১৭ সংক্রান্তি (রুয়েট '১৭ সিরিজ) সর্বসম্মতিক্রমে একমতে এসেছি যে, আমাদের কোনো ব্যাচমেট যদি আজকে বা আগামীতে সাধারণ ছাত্রছাত্রী তথা আমাদের ভাই বোনদের উপর আক্রমণ করে কিংবা হুমকি দেয় এবং তার সাথে প্রত্যক্ষ বা পরোক্ষভাবে, অনলাইন বা অফলাইন যেকোনো মাধ্যমে সম্পৃক্ত থাকার কোনো প্রমান পাওয়া যায়, তাহলে তাকে আমরা আমাদের ব্যাচ থেকে বর্জন করব এবং ভবিষ্যতে ছাত্র এবং কর্মজীবনে তাদের সাথে কোনোপ্রকার সম্পৃক্ততা থাকবে না। তাদেরকে ব্যাচ হতে সামগ্রিক ভাবে বয়কট করা হবে। রুয়েট এর আমাদের জুনিয়র ব্যাচের এমন কর্মকাণ্ডে কেউ যদি জড়িত থাকে তবে alumni হিসেবে আমরা তাদেরও বয়কট করব।

We, ১৭ সংক্রান্তি (RUET '17 series), unanimously agree that any among us who dare to harm or intimidate fellow students, and whose complicity is proven, whether direct or indirect, online or offline, will be disassociated from our group. We will sever all ties with them, banishing them from our community and rejecting any future association, whether in academia or the professional world. They will be cast out, boycotted by the entire batch!
